got these today. i wanted to attack the ups woman when she pulled in the yard...she was walking way to slow!! i figured these would get higher grades. my 80+ "night trap" was kind of crushed and had a big tear on back. these looks way better than my night trap... Either way im happy, i own my childhood favorite..and VGA makes a epic case. just gotta keep my eye out for the next one that pops up.
Awesome, this is a previously unknown copy from my list! If you want to share any background info on it, please pm me, trying to gather any info out there on these.
Anyone know why the serial numbers don't match between the cart and box? Like the cart inside isn't 733...
Confused, how would you know the cart # if it's sealed?
I will say though, there are open copies with matching numbers and some that are mismatched. I figured the mismatched copies were put together in pieces.

Well I guess I technically don't, I assumed mismatch at first too but have seen enough CIB copies to think otherwise at this point. It's not like any of these components are easy to find...
Got this today. Used to have an 85, happy with the upgrade!
Nice, did this come from guillavoie? I have 85+ and that was the highest in population for awhile there. This game is rarer than people realize and surprisingly underrated. Picross is a unique type of strategy / puzzle game, similar to minesweeper but a bit different. The picross genre is huge in Japan.

Hey Jone, yes it did come from guilavoie so happy to own this game again! There has not been many sealed sales of this game either and most sold are in 80-85 condition.
Can anyone either tell me or point me in the right direction for cleaning sealed NES and FDS games before sending into VGA please? I'm tired of seeing all the wishy washy Goo Gone crap and need the fine folks at NA to show me the path.

*noob status acquired* yes yes I know....
I use an eraser to remove any sticker residue and computer monitor cleaning spray to give the cellophane some extra polish. Note, you shouldn't use any cleaning spray for shrinkwrap games because there are holes which liquid can leak through and damage the box. However, it works wonder for games with Y-folds.

VGA has a service for $3 per game they will clean them, if you need stickers removed they will charge a little more depending on the job and they will remove them if they feel they can. The cleaning service is good, I use it for every game I send in to them.

That's funny you endorse it, I consider it the biggest sham that the VGA does. Sure $3 isn't expensive, but across a full order the $3 adds up. I would encourage you to use either goo gone (I've never had issues with streaks / foginess) or rubbing alcohol works good. Lightly dampen some paper towel and clean away!

Great looking Fax^^
Thanks. It's one of my favorite underrated games. The open world was the first to really come together. It doesn't get the respect I feel it deserves.
