Well congrats man, that's an amazing piece. Happy to finally see one.
Also, just checked eBay. That went for WAY under what I thought it would sell for if one ever popped up. I was expecting $7500-$10k area. Gives me hope for TM NES Zelda, or Sticker sealed SMB
That MM did go for a good price IMO, even if it were only 85. 85+ is icing on the cake at that point. I just wonder if the Tyson that he sold also went 85+, Bucky would have stolen that one too if so.

the price was extremely low imo and not even close to my max bid. A few folks were kind enough not to bid and another potential bidder hit a glitch. Relating to the 85+ I didn't try goo gone to remove the price residue which is still present...anyone else would have been able to- probably score a 90. I haven't seen a Dr. Wright sealed Mega Man period only Dr. Wily which probably sold for more at a lower grade
Yes I expected 5 figures as well, and I heard about bids not registering. I'm glad I didn't run you up either, I dropped my snipe due to some buys on the days leading up. I didn't expect to win or even be competitive and was shocked to be the runner up.
Hey folks... This is my first VGA graded game. I picked up a complete in box Challenge Set about 2 years ago from an estate sale. Rumor has it that the gift was bought as a Christmas gift in 1992 and for some reason was never given out that holiday. At the time I purchased it for around $250 and when I opened the box I was incredibly surprised at the condition of the sealed Super Mario 3 that came with the set. I didn't want to open it and wanted to preserve it in some way so it wouldn't get ruined. I did some research and went back and forth on what I wanted to do with it but in the end I decided it would be worth it to get at least one of my favorite games CIB graded and protected. Well, after about a weeks times I received the package from VGA this afternoon and I'm super happy with the results. Enjoy! (I added some before and after photos below)

Are there any differences for the Dr. Wright typo other than the actual typo itself? Any differences to the front or the cartridge?
I believe the Dr Wright is the only version that would have a 5 screw MM cart which still isn't guaranteed. Been lazy and need to get it x-rayed!
