  • Sweet!! There is also a factory sealed Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG in that $15,000 sealed Nintendo game lot on E-bay.
  • That copy linked above has a dent on the bottom (see 5th pic). Still nice, just saying it's not a 10/10 image
  • yawn.... I can't believe there's enough interest in these to sustain the price. they are available quite often.
  • $610 and reserve still not met? >.> Sounds a little crazy.
  • I still need this game, but like Bronty said, the price isn't reflective of how many are available. I will take my chances and wait.
  • LMAO, holy shit that is a lot of cash. I can't believe this game is going this high. 2 years ago you could pick up a sealed Chrono for 450-600.

I echo this sentiment.  I wonder if it has anything to do with the DS port that's coming out later this year...
  • Darn, my bid of $1.32 didn't win.
  • CT is not impossible to find, and they do pop up every now and then. I may not agree with the price, but there's no arguing what the auction ended at. So even though the supply of this game is a little higher than some other sealed games, the demand for this game is very, very high, which affects the price. This particular auction could very well have been influenced by the DS port too.
  • All very good points Blarky.
  • Holy moly! I´ve seen Sealed Chrono Trigger auctions before, finishing around 300-500 dollars... but 2,000? Jesus Christ!!!
  • This is a record price by almost 2x!
  • I'd hit it.
  • no way could this sale be legit. i want to see high bidders feedback! this is ridiculous!
  • I told you guys, this thing is common. no way should Chronnotrigger bring this type of money. If you have a sealed one, sell it now, cause it can't stay this high.
  • strange, it says it`s made in mexico, but it doesn`t have the majesco sealed line, it`s a standard one.
  • there's a difference between made in mexico and assembled in mexico. made comes with the line.

I sold mine for the same price privately

way too much money for this game IMO but if people want to pay it that's their choice

  • damn bronty, you must be richer than god!

Wait. What? I thought all the Mexican SNES games that said "Made / Assembled in Mexico" were only assembled here. I didn't know Nintendo actually pressed the ROM chips and boards and all that inside the country. o_O
  • This game went over $2k !!!

LOL, someone is really not paying attention.
