    I'm sorry but if people want your credit card number before they will let you bid or whatever you can rest assured that suckers gonna get charged. Always be leary ... I would NEVER give that out to anyone.

    their restrictions are against ebay policy so if they retract your bid you could always get the auction pulled

    I should have mentioned I got a non paying bidder strike 8 years ago also but I don't want to hurt my chances of giving him my credit card number. image  I'd like to see him enforce that restriction as he'd have to hack into an ebay database to find out that information.

    If I really wanted to bid on this I'd get a prepaid credit card (you can get some with as little as 50 bucks loaded on them) then spend it down before giving the # to him.

    and okayed the bid w/o CC.

    Hrmmm... I dont know the guy honestly sounded 110% legit. All his numbers matched up, he has pretty good feedback,  and  has a legit business ect.

    i think you will be okay, mike... he seems fine to me. he is just overly cautious. prolly got fucked over a bunch of times by NPBs. i just bought a high dollar item from a new member with 0 feedback, so i think you are in better shape than i am! haha. i think you will be fine, and if not, you can always do the chargeback (same reason i paid with cc through paypal even though the guy didnt accept it at first... i actually paid him $25 for the fees so he would accept it)

    I believe I know what it is, as well...  I won't say anything either, except that it went fairly cheap for what it is.
