When someone forgets to leave me feedback, I just politely remind them in a PM. If they don't leave it, oh well.
Feedback # doesn't define a person. Not even the % sometimes. At least not the most notably defining factor. A person could have a great feedback, just to turn around and scam somebody.
I agree with Paul, and the automatic thing shouldn't be implemented because it's a forced thing.
Feedback matters a lot to me. I hate having my transaction log filled with incomplete trades when the delivery confirmation clearly states it's been delivered weeks ago. Automatic feedback is pointless but not leaving feedback for a transaction is just as stupid. What's the purpose of even setting up the transaction then if you aren't going to complete it?

Understandable. Like I mentioned, it only affects a potential trade. I think the whole shipping first thing is bogus to begin with and both parties should ship at the same time. There have been members with high feedback that had scammed people out of hundreds of dollars, so the amount of feedback is really just arbitrary. And like you, I enjoy seeing my feedback score going up, but at the same time, I'll send a nice quick message as a reminder, and if someone doesn't leave feedback, it doesn't bother me, much like most people.
I'm sorry but I can't agree at all. When doing a trade feedback matters the most. With the large influx of new users on this site the shipping first rule needs to be maintained. I know there have been a few incidents where people with high feedback have gone rogue but for the most part veteran members tend to be more trustworthy and their feedback shows it.
Why do you guys think leaving feedback is required?
Nowhere have I seen where it is required to leave feedback after a NA transaction, sure it's encouraged and a good thing to do.
But leaving automatic feedback is 10000000% crap in my opinion.
Leaving feedback has always been voluntary and anything less than voluntary feedback makes the whole feedback system more suspect and trivial.
Having feedback forced would be total and complete bullshit and I personally would no longer accept any NA transactions if I was forced to agree to some BS automatic feedback bullshit.
Simple truth, leaving feedback is NOT required. It's a nice thing to do, but not required.
I agree with Paul.
Although leaving feedback helps keep the community informed and safe, it is 100% up to the buyer/seller to leave it or not.
The best that you can do is request for feedback to be given and state that you will leave feedback in return.
Just the fact that someone talk about feedback is enough to realize NA has a feedback system. Also, how obvious is those numbers aside each username and those bad ass trophies. That's self explanatory.

Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
I didn't even know you could leave feedback and I've been buying like crazy. This is news to me.

The reason nobody explained how is because they know how... because they read the FAQ's
I think it is even funnier that you have not read the FAQ's
IF YOU HAD you would know how to leave feedback from day one.

If you want, I am sure the "powers that be" can shut down the BS&T/NA Auction section of the site. Then feedback really would be unimportant.
