Finally got me a Nintendo Playchoice-10! [Picture Heavy]

Only took a 4 hour trip, and $55 in gas in a Suburban, but I finally got one.

Last Summer, one popped up on the Buffalo, NY CraigsList (that's about 3 hours away). It was $225, unknown condition and games list. I really wanted it, but decided the gas prices would kill that deal, plus I didn't have the time for a big day trip like that.

Fast forward to July 14th. Received an email from a man named Mike telling me he had a Playchoice-10, and had to sell it since the wife was coming down on him for all of his toys. He was located just north of Syracuse, NY. We haggled for most of last week, but finally came to a price we both agreed on. I picked it up on Saturday. While I was there, I asked him if he knew the history of the machine, and he told me got in from a man from Buffalo, NY, and met hit half way in Rochester. He traded him a 5hp go-kart, and a new poker table for it. It was the same Playchoice-10 I wanted from last year and now finally got!

Monitors are excellent condition, with only extremely minimal burn in on the left side of the [Time: 9999] box, and zero burn in on the bottom screen. Inside is nice and clean, and very low serial number. Motherboard was even redone on April, 2008. Unfortunately it needs new side decals, and Control Panel Overlay, and could use some touching up to the paint. And to my surprise, it even came with five games:

Duck Hunt

Super Mario Bros. 3

The Goonies

Double Dragon

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II (Rare Game)

Paid $350 for it. I feel like I got an amazing deal on it, and even if I didn't, I wouldn't care. I finally have accomplished a goal I set out to. That's the most important thing.

    nice score.

The dual screen PC-10's are supposed to have a gun coming from the little hole on the front of the machine. You can see the hole on the front right of this machine. A google search will show the gun.

This PC-10 is missing the gun.

  • Amazing deal! This is the next thing I'm getting!
