Hellow everyone, I am very curious who can help me.I would like to make a reproduction of NWC 1990 from a rom.I know the process  seen on http://callanbrown.com/index.php/basic-nes-reproduction.And I would like to buy the Repropak on retrousb.com.Is there anyone who knows the steps and chips I will need?PLease give me as detailed information as possible

It's custom, can't do it as it doesn't use a standard production board used ever anywhere else. I mean, you can hack the ROM and then also add equivalent hardware that's not exactly the same, but it's still probably 10x more than most people could handle.

a repro pak is not going to cut it. the version sold at retrousb uses a custom solution for the mapper, rather than all the discrete components, and I don't believe that's ever been for sale individually.



not to say it's impossible, but you are obviously in over your head here.

Retrousb made their own repro, that's as close as you will ever get, really.

The repro NWC on RetroZone is as high-quality as you can get. It is definitely what you are looking for.



It is currently out of stock, but they do restock it. It isn't a discontinued item.



The site has a nifty function that will notify you via email once it is back in stock.



Your other option would be to post a Want To Buy thread and see if someone on NA has one they'd sell you.



(And no, you can't have mine.)

This has never actually worked for me, surprisingly.  No emails were ever sent as far as I know.

The only other option would be to purchase one off ebay,folks list them on there from time to time.But the price is usually more than bunny changes for them on his personal site.Anyway goodluck!

Your first post did not answer my question, thus why I posed a question in the first place.

Yes, it's "custom" as you say, but it doesn't mean someone out there can't make them, i.e. a person/ site similar to RetroZone.



So, the quesiton repeated, does anyone other than RetroZone sell them?

You probably can if you got the time, money, materials (custom board, dip switches, etc.) and possible know-how (Software editing). But all that sounds too much of a hassle for any average repro-er. In the end it would cost more than to get it from Retrozone. I would suggest Retrozone anyway simply because I rather not have anyone else do it. Imagine the fakes out there. *shutters the thought*
