Picture(s) of the 10NES
Hey everybody.
I'm looking for a picture of the 10NES.
Specifically, I am looking for a picture of the original one, and the later revised one.
The original one will play games from Color dreams, Tengen, etc. and the later one wont.
Thanks

No.
Originally in 1985/86/87 when the NES was released, they had the 'original' 10NES chip. In 1990 they changed it to prevent the "zapping" method that was being used by color dreams and AVE, etc. I'm looking for pictures of both of them.
this came in later ( much later )

.. Are you kidding?
I'm talking about the 10NES. The chip inside the NES (and games). Information can be found here.. http://www.nes-wiki.org/wiki/10NES
But I'm looking for information on the newer chip that fixed the bug with zapping..
Noone knows what I'm talking about..?
please explain ...

Hey Josh, see if one of the mods will move this thread over to "The Brewery" section of the forum. The guys who frequent there have much more technical knowledge than the guys who frequent "Collector's Corner". The guys in here know more about rarity, special releases, item value, and things of that nature.
Hope that helps

Would love you for it!

The chip looks the same. Protection diodes for high and reverse voltages were added to the main board in various revisions.
Any idea if they are coded the same?
Gorilla
They added diodes, the 10NES is the same.
