***Does anyone know a guy who makes boxes for these fine titles?

I know there are a handful of fine gentlemen who offer this service, but can anyone make one for each of the games? (2008-2012?)
  • As far as I know Fsped is the only one who makes theses particular boxes, he does quality work too !

    Thanks Jon.

Fsped just made another sale because of you. All games will have happy homes now.
  • I don't collect NES games but for some reason I really want these!
  • I'm greatly looking forward to this years 16 Bit version.

    2008 - $400+

    2009 - $300

    2010 - $200

    2011 - $125

    2012 - $75

I know they have sold for different prices, but this is what one should expect to pay or receive.

I need to update the prices, but check my homebrew/repro guide for recent sales of all these games. The 2008-09 have sold recently on here. Prices above for those are accurate. The others jumped a little at the end of summer. Even 2012 was hitting over a hundred this past summer. Haven't seen any listed for a couple weeks, though. Same for 16 bit version. They were over $100-150  <---- WRONG! All sold for under $90.
  • Wouldn't the prices change if it was personalized ? I was thinking about collecting these..but having someone else's name on it..is...odd.

    -Eric
  • It's preference really. All 2008's are personalized. I think bunnyboy will change the message if you ask.

Me too, I got #23. I even made a box too for my personal collection. I reached out to ASMRetro for permission to sell the box but I never heard back from them so I'm not too comfortable doing that without their ok. But it turned out pretty cool!

    You..... you're good.

  • If 16-Bit XMAS had to be another port, which one would you like to see?

I think a port of 8-Bit XMAS 2011 would be awesome.

You must be mistaken. I didn't give you my 2011 card. I heard that Yoshigirl had given hers to a special friend, didn't know it was you

  • So jealous of you qix. I'm still looking for 08-10

Hahaha! Thanks man, I really appreciate it. It was definitely a tough one to snag, but it was well worth it. I think the 2009 copy was the one that I bought from Penguin.

We sure do. It's hard enough to complete the set. Took me over a year to get 2009.

    I definitley second that!!!

This collection was a pretty tough one to put together. I think getting a hold of most CIB black boxes with the exception of Stack-up and DK Jr. Math was easier and cheaper (well, at least back when I started getting them). 2008 is already fetching a similar price to the mentioned black box titles!!!

Is there anyway we can ask to have an icon made/added for these x-mas games? I mean, there are enough people with complete sets to make an icon for, right?
  • Congrats bigmak on completing the set!
