Nokia N-Gage collection ALMOST completed - 54/55 games

So about 3 weeks ago I received a lot of the hard to find games all at once and ended up only having Marcel Desailly Pro Soccer left for the complete european set. I wasn't really in a hurry but there hasn't been a copy of that game up for two weeks now and there was only one copy left on amazon for 7€ and I decided to just buy it. Now I own every N-Gage game ever released in Europe. The only games I'm missing for the full worldwide set are NCAA Football 2004 and of course Sega Rally.

Even without Sega Rally this is a pretty tough collection to complete. Just recently a copy of Civilization sold for 299$ which is pretty insane. Warhammer is also a very hard to find title. For now I'm happy with what I got and I know I have to patiently wait for the last two games to come to me. Anyone else here collecting for this oddball system?

  • How many games were released for that machine? 55?

55 games had a full legit release. There are a few games like Snakes that were never released because the system died and some people like to bitch about that you need those as well but that's bullcrap.

NCAA Football 2004 was only released in North America and Sega Rally was only released in Australia.

  • Great collection. I used to collect N-Gage games. Pretty nice, underated system.

Definitely underrated. Collecting is fun especially in the beginning but sooner or later you hit that mark where you just don't find games anymore because like 20 games only come up once every one or two weeks and there are like five games that only come up once every four or five months.  Can get pretty annoying.

  • Today I got my second to last game for my Nokia N-Gage collection with only the mighty Sega Rally Championship left for the complete worldwide set. I know somebody that has two copies but he doesn't really want to sell . I'm hoping to complete this collection somewhat soon just to get it out of my mind

The second to last game that I just got was NCAA Football 2004. The only game that wasn't released in Europe besides Sega Rally and it's impossible to find here so I had to buy it on eBay.com which I never do because PayPal. Had to ask a friend to do the transaction .

Here's the picture of the sweet looking collection.

Also do I get the award for the complete collection for this? After all you only need US-releases for all the other sets

  • Amazing Beliskner, I hope you find a Sega Rally soon. I know it can get pretty expensive, so good luck.
  • Very cool, nice collection! Good luck on finding the last game
  • Nice Collection! It is pretty hard to find those games anywhere. Good luck on the last one!
  • This part saddens me: "I know somebody that has two copies but he doesn't really want to sell"

I know it is his prerogative and he is allowed to do whatever he wants, but it just feels so mean!! hehe

I would feel guilty if I had 2 copies of something really difficult to find, and I knew someone who needed that 1 game alone, to complete their collection for the system.

My guess is he has 1 for his collection and 1 for speculative purposes - which again, is his right to do and all that, but still, hehe!

Good luck!  Here's one on ebay you just have to buy everything else too!

  • ^^Agreed. I had that moment about a year ago with the Sonic US UPC sticker case for the Master System, a guy up north from where I was (CA->WA) had the full CIB set of everything and all he needed was Sonic. Ended up chatting over ebay mail for hours that day about everything and instead of holding out for a higher offer as they had been increasing I took his older one and let him have it. It just felt like a dick move holding out on someones accomplishment like that.

Congrats especially being where you live too pulling it off.  I had a faint interest in this thing back when it was active but I just didn't need the phone and the screen seemed so tiny too but I heard what it got played well.
  • Thanks for the congrats everybody

That guy that has two copies of Sega Rally actually is more a N-Gage fanatic than anything else. His second copy is actually part of his second complete set. Yes he has two complete sets. He also doesn't collect all that much aside from N-Gage stuff (he has a ton of promo stuff and shit).

@Tanooki: I got pretty lucky and got most of the rares all in one shot for an amazing deal. Tracking all these games down individually is a pain in the butt. The late released games are the better ones to play (guess people learned how to prgram games by then). Sadly the late released games are also the hardest ones to find especially Civilization and Warhammer those two are assholes

@sadikyo: That guy that sells the whole set doesn't ship internationally and the price is way too high imo
  • I'm slowly working on this set.....however I'm missing just about every one of the really rare titles (Warhammer, civilization, sega rally, etc.). I am also collecting the NFR carts for this system as well as the Gold Master Press Release Kits. Fun as hell and super obsolete set to collect.

Congrats on your set and good luck with that last one.
  • Congrats man, that seems like a tough set to complete.

Yeah some of those rares can be a pain to find. You really have to wait for the deals on them. I see a lot of people collecting NFR's and Review Kits for the N-Gage but I'm really not into that kind of stuff. The only NFR stuff I collect is PS3

@MrClutch: Yep it's one of those sets where you need the right amount of money at the right time to hop on a deal. Some titles only come up a couple times a year and it's slowly decreasing. Easy to start of but pretty tough to finish completely

  • Pretty cool - didn't think there were many games here in the US.

Not much a handheld collector - got mine for cheap on closeout and it's in one of my drawers somewhere...
  • Hi, I have Sega Rally on ebay.com.au at the moment. Please take a look. Thanks
  • Is there any collector of ngage system?
  • n-gage is awesome. Alot of great games. In due time people will see
  • I'm mostly shocked as to how a thread from 2013 was revived. Beliskner hasn't been here in two weeks, I wonder if he ever finished it.
  • Here's to hoping you can finish the quest, if you haven't already!

Oh Tanooki, you're rambling will forever remain!
