Kijiji find!
This find was from several months ago, but I just thought I'd share it since I thought it was pretty cool.
As I've mentioned before, my brother lives in another province and spends a lot of time on Kijiji due to the nature of his job and he will often pick up good deals for me.
Anyway, someone had posted an ad on Kijiji for an NES with 40+ games and accessories. He listed the price for something around $200.
When we looked at the photos included, we noticed that the lot included the elusive (at least for me) Cowboy Kid!
Needless to say, my brother picked up the games as soon as he could. And when he got there, the guy said he would throw in a few more games that he forgot to list because he wouldn't have an NES anymore. Here are some of the highlights from the lot:
NES console in excellent condition
2 controllers
Four Score adapter
2 light guns
Famicom to NES Honeybee converter with 4 Famicom games
Cowboy Kid WITH MANUAL
North and South with manual
Mega Man 5 with manual
Battletoads
Bucky O'Hare
and still 40+ more games.
And, I know, pics or it didn't happen and all, but I usually make my posts from work where I can't upload personal photos. Just wanted to share the find because it's not often that I get such a nice score.

Nice score. As much as people complain about prices these days it's good to know there's still great deals to be had.
Yeah, they're few and far between, but they're still out there. It kind of bothers me that most people would look at the ad and think "oh man, I could resell those for twice that amount PER CART!" rather than how I looked at it: "oh man, there are some great games in there that I can add to my collection and I don't have to break the bank!"
The duplicates I gained from the lot, I passed the savings onto the person I sold them to. They got a magnificent deal.
