  • I know Timewalk games sells a complete Mr. Gimmick and Tales of Phantasia
  • yeah, that new ToP is a heck of a deal. I'm surprised they priced it at normal price, only $95!
  • It's already been said but I'll just chime in that Timewalk does fantastic work so they are definitely a great route to go.
  • Definitely Timewalk. They offer both of these and everything will be high quality. Worth the wait.
  • If you do not like Timewalk's painted cart shells and labels (Like Me, they are to "New" in appearance to fit in with the NES  era), thenesdump.com offers Mr. Gimmick with a great label.

Most of Timewalks SNES games look good though and as if they could have been produced by Nintendo in the 90s.
  • Mr Gimmick is a pricey repro, NESinfinite does a custom PCB with flash memory for $15 bucks though. I think NESDUMP charges a little over $50 bucks, because it uses the Batman Return of the Joker Cart.

I would check out the list of reproductions sites from the forum here at NA. That should be your first stop.

Its the same price as any of his repros, you just need to provide the Batman Return of the Joker cart, which if you ask me is a worthy trade off. This is also the ONLY game thenesdump.com requires you to send a donor for.......and its none of that Flash rom garbage thatll eventually delete itself in a few years...

This is a bunch of crap. A ROTJ cart is worth more than $15. AND, Flash is 10x better than EPROM that TND uses. Not that TND is bad, I'm just telling you you're dumb for saying flash isn't good. Flash is an upgrade from the PCB's IniniteNESLives over EPROM BECAUSE it's better. Dude, really, know something before you try to trash some just because of the name, as this post is nothing but untruthful bias. I hate this crap on here, this is a technical post. Technical posts should contain nothing but facts for the next guy who has this question, not what you posted.

I do hope you're focusing your angry against Parodius and not me. lol. 3Gen and I are on the same page. Eproms would loose their data long before flash, especially with sh!t wiring, however even that's up in the air. Compare it to VHS tapes, some crap out in 5 years and some still look clear even today. It depends on who's taking care of it, the maker, the quality-check, etc. Eproms are the same way. Many eproms are trash from the get go.

Anyway, InfiniteNESLives makes great products, I can't wait for mine.

  • Go Timewalk... they're the only way to go price-wise if you want nice quality CIB releases, in particular for the 2 games you mentioned.
