Nice find on Sunday morning!
3 Ninjas Kick Back SNES with one little bent corner. Other then the bend no damage it was never opened even. Also E.V.O. which is a bit worn but still worth keeping. Where did I find this you ask? In 1 of dozens neatly stacked large flat rate boxes filled with manuals. Kicker it's in my own home! LOL I know it's crazy and have been wanting to look through the boxes but have had little time. This just made me want to go digging in them. Besides 3 Ninjas & E.V.O. there were dozens of other great manuals. Only did the half which was SNES didn't touch the other half which was GB. Save it for anoter day who knows
.

Had to hard back them right away. My luck I would have dropped 3 Ninjas, stepped on it, and torn the cover.
Here are the units as sorting was going on.
2nd picture I believe the taller blue tub and bellow were manuals for Nintendo. we eventually reboxed that stack and most of it is now home.
This should help some understand how dozens of flat rate bozes become filled with manuals. This made up more then likely 60-70% of the manuals.

The same guy that has DOZENS of flat rate boxes filled with manuals...lol A few bulk buys has put a lot of boxed up items on the shelf to be sorted.
Even just a Dozen of them full would be thousands of manuals!

I'm curious why you bought so many manuals only to leave them lying around unopened.
After buying 2 storage units packed almost full with video games I wanted to consolidate into 1. So everything was sorted into boxes by category. Basically manuals, guides, magazines, games, controllers, misc, by system, and systems. Sorting it by myself would have been imposible so there was non-gamers/collectors helping. Everything came out and went into boxes by category. Some really good things I crossed by came home along with the overflow. Now I sort boxes more carefully at home and gems like these pop up. These two are actually minor to some things pulled already. It was literally by accident this was found. Box was unmarked and with the marked manual boxes on the shelves. Peeked into it to the contents and where it should be. Saw Sunset Riders manual on stacks of manuals spline up. Then I thumbed through and waalaa here I am.
Last time i was looking I found an Incantation manual.
grats!

Yeah the 2 units were Tom's. Bought them right before he relocated in GA. Story goes reason behind the bulk number of empty cases and loose manuals was thet were left after theft. Few N64 KEY title manuals were pulled upon running across them. 2 copies of the same title that really made me happy happy.
((NO BEFORE ANYONE ASKS I AM NOT SELLING MY EXTRA COPY OF THE KEY N64 TITLE)) LOL

Not sure if you saw the units before I bought them but they were hell bent. Was more important at the time to sort and reorganize then sort through and make worse. Left only to imagine at this point but these random pulls from 1 box are a good sign.

Glad you got some decent stuff out of them. I had saw him advertise them hear and heard from word of mouth locally. A friend who used to deal with Tom a lot had told me that they were, "All junk," and I passed on them. Guess he was wrong!
You didn't get to look at them first right, it was basically a blind bid? Either way, that's cool. I like a little chance.
EDIT: Oh, and not to derail your thread but are you familiar with a reseller named Mark who lives down your way? Ran into him at the Waretown townwide and he beat me out on a lot of good stuff. Said he's a school teacher or something who does reselling in the summer.. Short, bald guy.

Mark The Shark, dude is unstopable hits house at 5-6-7 in the moring either knocks or waits...lol He has beaten me to some really good things. More then likely know which buddy you are reffering to (rt70). Tom let me check it all out and dig in before I bought it. He was asking a really big number the 2 and was priced high for that much bulk. We ended up at the half way point. Once you start doing the math andadding up the numbers it was well worth it. Saved myself what I spent in gas chasing down the same things. The scene of resellers, wanna be resellers, and collectrors is so large it ended up being the best bet. Now once in awhile I can hit a few on Saturday. Guys like Mark make you overly competive and it gets crazy...lol You see the same faces all the time.

Lol, Mark the Shark. Yea, it's kind of a long story but it was my goof for not hanging around.
I got to a house, no gaming stuff in sight but I asked and they claimed they had a bunch in the attic. I gave them my number and said to put it aside, call me when they find it and I'll come back and buy it no matter what they have. I come back due to just being around the corner again, no call, and I see Mark "the Shark" who had just bought it all.. Top Loader and a bunch of NES games. Thanks for putting it aside.. Then the girl brings out a slim PS2 which we have a bidding war over and I ended up paying $30 for that and a crappy GBA pink handheld (hardly worth it).
They claimed they still had games in the attic after Mark left and I said, when you find them call me and PUT THEM ASIDE, I will buy them. Get a call finally when I'm already at exit 80, I turn around and start heading back. Get to about the 74 rest stop and they call again saying someone offered them $200 for it all. At this point I'm like what the fuck? Is this some kind of sick joke?? I say that I can possibly beat it if I know what it all is and the guy doesn't really seem like wanting to read titles. He said he'd get back to me.. An hour later and I'm already home he calls and says he sold it to the original guy (Mark) for $20. I'm never going to Waretown again lol.
