Mad City repro?
Okay, I am pretty sure most of us can agree that Bayou Billy is damn near unplayable. I have heard though, that the japanese version of the game, Mad City, is a fantastic game. I am wondering if a translation of the game has been made into a repro cart. I would love to own this version over Bayou Billy if possable.

I would settle for a ROM patch, since the only thing the Famicom version is better is in the difficulty settings... I'm sure it is as easy as to modify how much damage enemies can take/receive... where's our resident rom hackers???
I am pretty sure there was more than just the damage output in the game that was more than changed. From what I understand, the level design was majorly changed (especially in the driving stages) along with that, the hit detection was majorly gimmped for the player, along with that, they made the crocs in the first stage manditory to beat before moving on in the stage, where in Mad City they were just hazards to avoid. Tons of changes were put into the game like that...
I have beaten the NES version legit though.
It'd probably be a simple repro though.

I could do the rom edit if you're actually interested.
Sure, I might be interested. I am not really sure what goes into making these repros really. I kn ow there are all different types of them and how they work.

Hey, thanks for finding this. Next big question, can I get this made into a repro?
