Sealed FF Nes
Today i found an awesome sealed copy of final fantasy on the nes. The seams look right to me. Overall i think its in good shape. The top looks great, but the bottom does have some slight creases and crushing. I was wondering what you guys would value it at?

The people that collected sealed games collect because they are generally in good shape. As for price wise I would take what ever info you can find on past sales and put your copy at the bottom of that.

Yeah... I have seen people open sealed games in that kind of shape because they are only worth CIB prices.

I realize that the condition is not the best, but this game is factory sealed. I just want to know the fair market value of it.
I think you got the answer. It's basically worth a CIB. It's a common game, and while being factory sealed CAN bring a premium, it does need to be in fair shape, or the premium isn't really there. Pictures show LOTS of box crushing. Worst part of it being sealed in that shape is you don't know if any of the contents is damaged (however unlikely). At best you have a mint cartridge and manual / maps etc.

It's all part of collecting! Everyone takes a chance now and then. Sometimes they turn out, other times they dont. Best way to know what it's worth.. Put it on e-bay.. Take good pictures and see. Might we inquire what you paid? Hopefully south of $100?
My HPB up the street a mile from here has one too, complete, but the box is fubar and they want $18, but since I have everything but the box I left it as crushed cardboard means nothing to me. They also had a decapitated Zelda(gold) and Tyson too with the top smashed. THere were a few other nice CIB or CBs they oddly TAPED UP! I bought two as they were cheap on a gamble and very slowly I got the damned tape off so I got Adventure Island (CB) and Ninja Gaiden 2 (CIB+poster) out of it thankfully for $14 between the two.
Same with sunfaded boxes or coverless manuals. I look at them as useless but I've seen eBay bidders scoop em up!

I wouldn't be surprised if it approached $150 on eBay. I wouldn't want any part of it either, but there are always people on eBay who will bid on worn items.

I am with you sooooooooooooooooooooo much on this. I can understand a box being creased or crushed by accident but seeing sun faded stuff hurts. It kind of shows me that the owners who let them get that way really didn't really care about them.
That thing is basically worth CIB price unfortunately.
