At least you have one. I'd like it to play, but I refuse to shell out that ridiculous level of cash for a video game so I'll need his luck. And good on you not sharing where it came from, it's really no ones business and openly opens you up for having a higher percentage chance of someone else lucking into a game like that and poaching it from the shelf before you check again. It's cool enough if you find a place that gets this stuff, and insane when they price it like it's the 1990s still.
So a game store that actively sells retro games accidentally priced this one at $9.99?
What the...
The store that closed down in my town two years ago....he absolutely would have sold this for $19.99 tops. I suppose that's why he isn't in business anymore though. That and he literally was open only when he wanted to be, despite having a store on Main Street. There were no "business hours". You had to be lucky enough to just catch him open. He had that property for about a decade, and as huge a fan of retro games as I am, I probably only got into there 20 times over ten years. I wish at the time I realized how cheap all of his awesome stuff was, but I hadn't updated myself to today's prices at that time. I didn't realize how shrewd everything had suddenly gotten. That dude sold everything for so cheap, and I feel like he had more CIB games than cart only games. There's no way he sold off everything he had, he was never open enough to do it. I remember when his store went out of business, it was still packed full of stuff. I used to peer through the window all the time just so angry that he would never open his store and let all of the awesomeness out. I did buy many things from him, but in reality, based on today's prices, I blew it big time and should have bought his entire store out.
