Is there a reason why this is in every thread you've been posting in?
yes. i feel it's important to move away from petty arguments about politics or whatever social hot-button trigger-worthy topic any two-bit poorly informed ideologically entrenched gamer might post about in everything else (which I've also been pushing to eliminate since 08) and focus on what brings us together: classic video games. this us-v-them mindset only breeds sentence parsing, personal attacks that won't convince either side to change their mind or even entertain the idea that their thinking might be misaligned or, god forbid, wrong, so fuck it: play metroid.
if you disagree i don't care, i'm here for the games and groupies.
I understand where you're coming from, I wouldn't personally go to that extent as the Everything Else section does have decents threads not related to politics and attacking one another, but nevertheless completely understood. I'll let you know how my playthrough of Metroid goes
altho i do have a sweet copy of metroid w/a blockbuster sticker on it and it has that piece of paper taped over the top label they use to do. the cart, sticker and tope label tape are all in near mint condition. its pretty cool.
i picked up clu clu land today. ive never played it. i traded an extra dk classics cart and $5 for it (retail brick and mortor) not the deal i was looking for but i needed it for the contest and the store owner is a cool dude so what the hey.
I have never played Castlevania on NES before. @_@
Me neither. Always wanted to. Never got it for a birthday or Christmas. None of my friends owned it. I never rented it from Blockbuster. I see Simon's Quest from time to time bet never picked it up. From what I've heard it wouldn't be a good one to start with.
Got a Galaxy 5000 recently and played that, was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed playing it. I guess cause it reminded me of micro machines game a little bit. Controls were a little bit weird at first, but once you got use to it got easier.

It is a cool game. I never got the hang of it to be good, but it is fun to play.
So I will say being close to a full set I've played all the games I have had for at least 5 minutes, more it they are good. Have been pleasantly surprised by a bunch and the ones that come to mind were cowboy kid, gun nac, little ninja brothers, galaxy 5000, for some weird reason master chu, but think the best one is boulder dash, like the puzzleness of the game. Worst still Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde, but I vow to beat that game once in my life time.

I really like master chu I feel I'm in the minority. Cowboy kid is one of my favorite nes games. Clu clu land is pretty decent.

Marble madness is a lot of fun! But now I've actually got to stop... I don't know if I can improve on that score...
You can if you try correctly. Try again!

Is the sauce Red or White. The White sauce, Alfredo, is better.
Scrambled with curry powder, lemon pepper, cheese and some chunks of ham in it.
Whoops! I almost missed an order! Here you go!
