New Basic Gameboy Flashcart
With the sticker:

The internals:

We've made flashcarts with a similar design in the past, but we sourced gameboy games in bulk and used the MBC5 chips from them. Now we're producing these with all new parts, which makes our production a lot easier and will eventually allow for a lower price. Currently I'm soldering these by hand and selling them privately for $45.00, but that price will drop once the mass production starts.
This cartridge opens a lot of doors for us. In terms of homebrew, we were limited to just 32kb cartridges (like the Christmas cartridge). But now we are able to produce games up to 4MB. I'm not sure we can expect much homebrew support in terms of publishing, but I'd like to be able to offer the option in case anyone is interested in publishing a gameboy homebrew.
We'll have programmers for sale for this device soon. Currently there's schematics and code available online to build a programmer that will be able to flash these cartridges. It can be found here: http://www.reinerziegler.de/

Gameboy color too. The hardware is the same. We just went with the classic style shells because we prefer the look of them.

It's on board memory. Not sure if there's an average size. Maybe 1MB? I think pokemon is 1MB. LSDj which is what most people use these for is 1MB.
