The Games Are Out There
Very new member here at NA but not new to gaming. I started recollecting all the old SNES games (from nothing) I missed playing from my childhood...one thing turned to another and now I am wanting ALL the titles I can get!! Anyway, I have looked around the forums enough and figured it was time to post something of my own
First come up was about a month into my video game mission, i reposted my same tired ad in a local facebook group, asking if ANYONE had video games for sale. Well one guy got ahold of me and was real nice, he had a few games but back when I first started I wasnt thinking to buy an entire lot...well Im sure glad he messaged me because I got this...
Earthbound, final fantasy 3, and super metroid...two games came with the guides....all for 50 dollars.
Second come up was this morning, last night i got ahold of a sweet woman on a FB group who said she had some things. I had alot of what she had already, but figured id go look anyway, since she didnt send pictures...boy im sure glad i did.....
And she was happy with 40 dollars for all of it!

Its odd how some people who post on Facebook are selling games really really cheap when they can easily see how much they sell on eBay. Whats the name of this Nebraska FB group?
Value is in the eye of the beholder. To them, it's seriously comparable to selling worthless VHS tapes for money. And as such, they feel as though price checking VHS tapes is a tad bit pointless. I'm sure they feel like they ripped the people off who bought all that 'old junk". They have a value of these things already in their head, and that's "It's old, it's taking up space, it's not worth anything because people have more advanced games to play". Ignorance is bliss.
Half my coworkers are shocked to find out the prices of retro games. Why? Because they simply cannot understand why people would shell out money for games no one plays anymore.

You did super well, not sure though if the 'games are out there' exactly, regionally sure, but in general it's become a chore. It's quite the thing to get the Earthbound guide and the FF3 one isn't a slouch either entirely.
More or less, it's a matter of "Did you get there fast enough".
great find!
