Myriad six in one on ebay!

thought I would enjoy some offer comedy - not intending to sell but at the same time kinda curious as to what people might offer for it these days

  • Thats actually a really good idea, I may try listing my rare cibs like that to get a feel for the current market values.
  • ^^^ Yeah, but over time, word will get out to portions of the community that there isn't any intention to actually sell and it'll skew your results.

There are lots of folks here looking for a Myriad CIB, but knowing that Bronty isn't going to sell his, none of them are going to offer on it. That's a portion of potential bidders that won't be raising the price as high as an actual sale would go.
  • true, there are plenty of non NA members that may offer tho, would be interesting to hear what kind of offers it gets.
  • I think that something like a Myriad will attract offers from all over, but for your average game, you may not be able to accurately gauge current market value using this method.

    yeah probably, hard to say.
  • no shipping and local pick up only will have an impact on rather or not someone will send offer
  • Well, I would offer 2500 if it were real if that helps.
  • i want to see pics, and i would offer more than mike
  • People were throwing around a 3000$ figure for a CIB one a couple weeks ago. I think that if someone were to actually sell a sealed one, it would take quite a bit more to get it.
  • ^ Really? Who was throwing around $3000?
  • I didn't even look at it, if it were sealed you would have to assume at least 5000.
  • damn, neither did i... i forgot bronty had a sealed one. i remember the auction he won. yea, i dont got money for a sealed one!
  • I'd love to see some pictures!

And btw.. Do you really have it at your bank?

When I posted that, I thought that both mb7241 and themotherbrain were both talking about being willing to drop 3000 on a complete. Checking back on the old thread, it was just Matt. Rob's magic number was 2500.

  • I have a few games at the bank, yeah. I have a safety deposit box big enough to fit the ten nicest games so they go there. Why not. The value of ten best games gets up there, I feel better knowing they are safe and it doesn't cost that much.

yeah I think you're right about that.   I guess I'm just curious to what non-NAers might offer on something like this.   That being said my listing isn't exactly bid friendly (insane BIN, local pickup, no pictures, lol) so it might not get many offers either.
  • pics are not showing up

I think that at present, the auction is not supposed to have pictures.
  • Glad I don't want/need this game! image

    That's very cool.
    Let me guess..
Sealed Stadium Events, Myriad, Athletic World, Caltron, Cheetamen II, Flintstones 2, Bubble Bobble 2, Chubby Cherub, Colour a Dinosaur?

What else do you have there? Panesians?
  • cheetahmen 2 and CAD I don't consider nearly worthwhile for the deposit box, no. same with caltron and athletic world.   dk math and a couple other black boxes are there. a couple of my favorite snes games like mega man x3 as well
  • gotta get me a safety deposit box soon too.

    Nice new avatar Bronty. LOL.

  • FYI the banks in new west are the best place to go for large deposit boxes. its the oldest settlement in this area so it has the oldest banks with the biggest boxes

thanks re avatar, I like it too
