But in all seriousness, I've read the forum here for years, and figured I should sign up.

I'm in Vancouver, BC, so I get to enjoy:

-A severely limited selection from eBay, thanks to customs, our horrible postal rates, and people thinking they can charge twice as much for shipping (regardless of actual cost)

-Bilingual boxes and manuals (completists might like them?)

-A collecting market too saturated to be fun (the same few people buy up all the CL deals, if there's any to begin with, so there's not much thrill to the hunt in this city)

BUT I get to enjoy the close proximity of the US border, and the awesomeness that Washington has to offer in the way of small time thrift and game stores.

My exciting find from the past year? SMB3 (Cart only) in great shape, at Value Village, for $5. The other Value Village, which is a ten minute drive away from the one I found SMB3 at, had SMB All Stars in their glass case for $65.

Thrift stores these days...
