I just opened a new Game Store / Thrift Spot on the Central Coast of California!

Hey all, new here and I wanted to introduce myself!

I'm a gamer, purveyor of things old and used, collector, artist, and D - all of the above.

A couple months back I started a Thrift Store / Art space near UCSB and after a month I had a few people come in an tell me that they were thankful that I had game stuff - when I asked why, they said that there was NO stores within 50 miles of here that sold any vintage / retro (hate those terms) gaming equipment. So, as a gamer and as someone completely dumbfounded as to why there wouldn't be, I decided to start focusing more on game stuff.

Fast forward a month or two and I am really starting to have an actual inventory of about 40+ games for each system, have most systems in stock including some rare ones like the Panasonic Q w/controller and some other CIB systems.

So in any case, I'm Chris and the website for the store is http://www.goletathrift.com - if you live in the area, stop bai and say hai! I do art and I game!

oh also, unsponsored plug: My buddy (Daniel Rehn) started a gaming research facility in LA called the "LA Game Space" - http://lagamespace.org/alpha/ - check that out too!
