So you don't sell all the good games on your website. Can't say I'm surprised. Anywho, good luck with the sale!
Really rare stuff like Cheetahmen II, Stadium Events, NWC's, etc are usually reserved for eBay or private sales instead of sold on my website. Listing something for $1,000+ just gets lots of emails from customers telling us our prices are messed up
Not to be mean, but your prices are messed up. It's that plain and simple. You're asking $1121.19 for a cart only of little samson. Please tell me that's not an insane price. And a cart only of bubble bobble part 2 is $426.17. That's more than double what they're going for right now. There's no way to justify either price since they're carts only. Prices like that are why you get lots of emails from customers telling you your prices are messed up.
Please don't thread crap, people are free to ask whatever they would like for their games. Plus there he probably prices them ther as 1. They will eventually sell 2. Rare games drive traffic to his business.
I'm not trying to thread crap. I'm just pointing out reasons why he might get customers telling him his prices are messed up. If this is thread crapping, am I really not supposed to point out facts or speak my mind?

Well, regardless of your intentions it is thread crapping, especially since it is in JJs auction thread spotlight. Like I said, people can price their games wherever they would like and not have to worry about what others opinions are on them. If someone solicits the forums help as to why their items aren't selling, then feel free to speak up. Otherwise just don't post, as it is against the forum rules.

Understood. I'm just glad someone else is on the same page.
Seeing this thread and reading through it is actually making me worry about buying this game sealed or Cib or even at all now . What's the real deal with this game ? Did Etler throw together some cib's and seal them himself ? All I want to know is when I'm ready to buy this I want to know if I'm buying the real thing as I've heard for years were found in storage somewhere in FL or was this game a prototype that Etler got and and made copies of ? I never thought I'd be this lost on a nes game , very discouraging . I think a thread should be made on the true history of this game so we all know what the truth really is .
Looking to bid on this. Questioning whether to just wait until there is one with the back sticker still attached. I like the nice condition and that it is from a reputable seller, just not sure if missing the back sticker would affect the value. Of course we'd all prefer to have the sticker, but if some of these never came with the sticker to begin with versus the sticker having been removed then it may not make that much difference. Thoughts?
^If definitely made a difference 2-3 years ago when I was looking for one. I had a few pass through my hands due to condition and missing the sticker. The ones with the sticker definitely were selling higher. They seemed to be coming up FS more often then, so I can't say for sure if that would still be the case now but I would expect a cart with the sticker to sell for higher.

The number of questions I have had from people about it being Action 52 or how to know it is Cheetahmen convinces me that there is probably a price difference between the two - with sticker and without sticker.
There is more uncertainty so people will bid less or some people won't bid at all.
I know this might not be the smartest thing to say when I am trying to sell one of the stickerless versions but I think it is the truth.
$721. Outbid by $20. Hope it went to an NA member. Great price for the buyer. Couldn't pull the trigger on more than $701 without that damn sticker. Makes for an expensive sticker when I finally get one, but after buying Myriad which is essentially a sticker, I'm used to it.
Not sure what you are saying. Perhaps Etler paid a company to seal them and didn't do it by hand but he was responsible for it being sealed either way. Etler didn't stumble across these games already sealed and ready to go. He bought the parts, assembled them with what he had (action 52 cases etc) and then had the boxes shrink wrapped.
Actually, they were all purcased sealed and in sealed cases. The manufacturer was looking to unload bare Genesis A52 carts, but those we passed on. I've never owned a shrink wrap platform nor had anyone shrink wrap any item that's passed through my hands.

Well there you go. An urban legend put to rest.
Wow, good to hear it from the source Mike!
Any idea how many there were total? I have heard 1500 for years, but not sure if that is the truth or not.

1200-1500 was the number given to me by the manufacturer, but it was hard to tell what they had moved before I started dealing with them. They were being sold primarilly to flea market vendors in Florida before a customer of mine gave me the lead.

Not entirely true. I lurk once in a while. I just have a lot going on, so free time is at a premium these days.

I don't recall the total since it was done over multiple invoices over the course of 18 months.
