Got a Conker's

Was browsing Kijiji,

Saw an ad for a complete Earthbound and at first I was sceptical because there have been many times that CIB EBs have been listed on the site for the same price.

So I look at his other ads and see the other games he was selling all laid out on what seems to be his bed so it looked legit.

Got his contact info and we began texting - ended up grabbing a few other games so that he would have more incentive to meet today.  We met up and I was REALLY pleased with the quality of it all.

Guide has Scratch n Sniff intact, all mail cards are there, box and cart in great condition.

  • Looks like it's in very nice shape. Great find. Hope you got a good deal!
  • I have a hard time finding one for a good price period, yet alone one in that great of condition! Congrats on your find, enjoy it!
  • Thanks guys, this one set me back roughly a bb2 cart.
  • I much have you paid for that BB2 cart initially?
  • Jelly...Congrats
  • Nice find but considering that you didn't shout out the price in mere seconds I suppose it wasn't too cheap.
  • Thank you,

It wasn't the steal of the century but I still got it at a very good rate I believe!
  • I sold my CIB to someone in Mississauga for $700 a few years ago.

Wow, it's definitely gone down i price since then.

  • To be fair, at the time (december 2010), $700 was an ambitious price, and the highest I had seen up to that point. I had offers up to $600 in the short time I had the game listed on ebay, so I held out until I struck gold. I felt kind of guilty, since I had just bought the game that summer for $350 shipped from someone on another forum.
  • What's a CIB worth now?
  • Why does this never happen to me haha
  • CIBs now a days run anywhere from $400-$550. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

  • Can I rub a little luck of of you and find an EB, cart only is fine, but I just need some luck
  • Nice job! You said second. Is your other CIB in as good condition?

The first one was in good condition but not nearly as good as this.

DrAfroKid: I may consider that, I'll let you know.

EvilEyeBall: Yes, but it will cost you 15% of your prospective finds

  • That's really impressive and worth like $400 bucks minimum!

  • Picked up the following lot for a relatively good deal.

Paid $100, no story behind this one. Messaged the guy, met up and we made the exchange!

  • Some good SMS games in there. I played a lot of Double Dragon and Pro Wrestling on that system.
  • Nice lot i like collecting for the master system
  • Found this ad online initially listed for $500.

He then relisted it for $350 and I was able to talk him down to $300.

Pretty good lot overall for what I paid:

  • February has been a slow month thus far.

I was however able to snag this bundle for $100:

And then I saw an ad on Kijiji for someone selling a large PS2 bundle for $50. I asked if he had other stuff and he threw in the PSP and GBA games for an additional $20. All in all, $70 for roughly 70 games!!

  • Quality Sony swag
  • haha thank you, hopefully one day their price will pick up!
  • Wow, very nice. I don't collect PS2 either, but I have like 150 games just from picking them up for $1 or less at yard sales. I just can't pass them up for that price. Onimusha, resident evil, metal gear.. solid titles. Check out Dark Cloud and Shadow of the Colossus if you haven't yet. Love the GBA games too. I didn't even know there was a GBA monkey ball game. Is that Rayman?

Dark Cloud was one of my favourite RPG titles growing up.

    And yes, it's Rayman!
  • Nintendo can hardly complete with Playstation 2's titles in that era. So many quality games so I would personally collect for PS1+PS2 in that era vs Nintendo.

Regarding the pickups, great haul, I really enjoy seeing USA games for a different change of scene
