Zelda SNES Bundle for sale

Not my listing, but this is the first time I seen one being sold as brand new...of course the seller wants more than what one will pay for it, but still looks nice.

  • Wow that looks nice in 2014 haahha. Too bad that hefty price tag.
  • Yeah, I saw it and thought, "Cool, I could use an SNES and a Zelda... *sees price* ...uh, no thanks."
  • I wrote the guy and asked him what a reasonable offer is, and he didn't seem to respond too well...made it seems like he wants way too much.
  • Could just be for bragging. Someone throws some awesome piece up on the bay with an outrageous price and won't even accept reqsonable offers. People are stupid but that's how some work.
  • Why was it opened?!?

Yeah I thought the same thing...but I believe it's unused, however can't be qualified as brand new/sealed since the seal was broken.

It just looks like he ripped that SNES sticker/seal to see if it was inside. Someone who knew what was up probably could have just realised the cardboard had never been bent and judge by the weight of the system. That's cringe worthy in ways... if that is what happened.

  • I've seen a new VGA'd zelda system before. It was niiiiiice!
  • nice but not made of gold ..... IMO

people asking crazy prices, its just wow
  • Being advertised as brand new but the Nintendo seal is broken and it was obviously opened as we can see from the pics. Bought exact same item last Sept. Condition was not as good but VERY close. Paid $250. Top dollar on this thing is $400 imo
  • Man, I remember opening this exact bundle up as a kid...my dad was going to give it to my aunt and I begged him to give it to me instead lol. The thing is they were selling these bundles at Toys r us clearance for $20 each back when the snes era was ending. Wish we would've bought more haha.
  • I made a very reasonable offer on this. Guy responded my offer was very very low. Said he had an $1800 offer and that was still very low. He is either lieing or we are in the Twilight zone and someone is insane to offer that much.
  • 'gasm. But not for $4k, no siree. I wouldn't spend more than a couple hundred on it, personally.

I saw an ad in the paper last year for "Super Nintendo" at a yard sale. It was the Zelda SNES bundle CIB, in rough shape. The lady wanted $200 for it, not including the games. I passed and bought her CIB Speak 'n' Spell for $2 instead
  • He's gotta be lying, nobody is gonna pay 1800 for that thing.  It can sit on eBay till the end of time with that price tag.  The very most I'd pay for it is 400.  If the seal was unbroken, I'd do 500

Thats what I really hope happens.  People need to have cold water thrown in their face now and again.

Stuff is only worth what someone will pay for it.

He needs a wakeup call. In his mind it is "brand new" when it is obviously open. I agree $400 is top dollar as it sits now. It is in VERY nice condition.... and you get LttP guide.

I hope it sits on there forever.

  • Wat a deals!

You thought that was a deal?

Look at this deal from the same seller for the fat SNES zelda bundle.

As you can see, this one is also "brand new"

  • It's not new. This is one of the few SNES consoles that actually came factory sealed on the ends. No sealed collectors would buy this.
