  • Ha, your max bid was $50?

Also moved this to the right subforum.
  • Yeah if you thought you were not going to get out bid with 50.00 and being on SGW.com lol sorry never going to happen. ANYTHING on SGW.com is going to go for an obscene amount. This will be well over a grand easy.
  • I really want one of these. Ill never give that much money to Goodwill.
  • Oh wow what a find. Thanks for sharing, but i agree i wont pay that much to goodwill.
  • The real question is does it have the back label.
  • Yeah, my max bid was a joke in case the universe decided to do me a favor.

I would never buy that yellow piece of crap!

Honestly, I only collect games that I enjoy and play. I really don't want that expensive piece of chinese plastic in my possession. I've got a wife and baby on the way... no time for such nonsense.

That's my $0.02 (and why I shared the link right away).
  • I've never seen one of these. Is it legit? Any back story?

Muresan has one listed on ebay with a good description.

  • Nice to see an interesting auction other than NWC for a change. Should be fun to watch, thanks for posting.

Edit:  Bah, there's one on eBay too!?  Nothing is rare these days!  (Sarcasm of course, but you get the point.)

same for me, this has been my white whale for quite some time now, not only is it number one on my want list, but it's the last test cartridge that I need to complete my set! (Not counting variants thou) yes I'm going after test cart variants haha

Wow, are you kidding me?  Damn man that's impressive.  Do you have the Gyron test cart too?

  • I had a complete Test cart set (not including oddball stuff like Gyromite and Duck Hunt) plus a few grey variants but sold them a few years back. Loved the Test Cart, but the money was more important at the time.

Muresan's looks beautiful, and the back label is essential in my opinion.

nope those are pretty much one of a kind things that were made at a service center. They are not on the official list and don't have part numbers on the service center reorder list so I don't count them. Doesn't mean it wouldn't take one if I found one thou
  • Whoops on my phone I quoted too high there. Come to think of it thou I still need a couple more test carts, but it's the last NES one.

. I've seen several of the yellow version, never a Zelda one thou. I have a five screw yellow port test cart myself. They def show up a lot less than 3 screw ones. As far as I know there are no 5 screw grey test carts.
  • The 5 screw port is actually a revision of the original that fixed an issue, and I remember seeing 1 Zelda
  • Oh neat thanks Otto! Have there been any other 5 screw ones you've seen as well?
  • Yeah, I saw that auction awhile ago... and like always the auction will probably go a lot more :/
  • It is obvious that Goodwill doesn't know what they have here. The seemingly odd high price for this bundle of games should throw up a red flag. Let's hope a corrupt employee (and we all know Goodwill is filled with them!) doesn't steal the game before the auction is over.

That's cool, Man! Mine has three screws and I have not seen one with 5 before. Hope someone who appreciates this cart buys it.  MinusWorld, if it's #1 on your list grab it now! It took me forever to find one that was in good condition.  Curious to see where this one ends up. I've seen them sell for 950-1300 over the past year, with one in a French auction going for $1600.
