The score of my first year of obsessive video game hoarding
So this girl messaged me on facebook and said she had a few NES games she wanted to sell. I did the usual spiel, can you send pics, give me a list etc etc. She started to send me a message one game at a time and it was decent commons; all marios, zelda, paperboy, cool world etc about 25 games and a system. Then she says "flintstones", thinking nothing of it i asked her which flintstones and she says "surprise at dinosaur peak. I almost shat.... i didnt want to cause too much of a commotion because I didnt want her to get to researching so i asked her to send me pictures of all the games if she didnt mind, not being specific. She did and sure enough..... it was there. At this point i'm ready to drive right now but it was about 1AM. I let her have the floor on price. Of course i couldnt pay 800+ but she asked for 150.00 for all the games and system. Needless to say i agreed. I got up the next morning, drove an hour to meet her, chit chatted for a moment, grabbed flintstones and put it in the front seat with me and drooled the rest of the day.... Its in GREAT shape. I couldnt believe it.
I always told myself if i scored one of those big rare games, that i'd sell it because with more money i could get more games to fill in my collection. But no... there was a presence about this game. I've included pics.

I added some photobucket links! those should work! check 'em
I got to thinking, does anyone know approximately how many of these there are? Were there more than 1 game per blockbuster at the time or was it just 1 per store?

Nice! Also, I love that you said Dino Peak was an "Epic SURPRISE"! Haha
Haha yeah i think that under any circumstance, if someone comes across a F2 in the wild it would always be a surprise. The only thing that would make F2's title even more ironic would be if it were called "Flintstones - Holy shit you found a rare ass game"
