TMNT Ebay Auction

Not that I'm complaining, but I'm selling my extra TMNT cart on Ebay and it's currently at $18.50 with a little over 3 hours to go.  Any idea or reason why it's going for this much??  I figured it would go for somewhere between $5-$8.  Heck, it had a BIN option for $10 before the bids started coming in.



Am I missing something??  Like I said, I'm not complaining.  I know that NES cart prices are increasing, but if this keeps up, I might start selling some of my collection!  I've got several commons that I'd love to get this much for!

    Strange considering there is a CIB Turtles posted with about the same time left for less shipped. Possibly you got lucky and 2 people set really high autobids thinking there was no way anyone was bidding over $8. Only thing I can think of.

    I've looked at all the TMNT carts that have sold over the past couple weeks and the highest one that I found was $11. Hope the bids keep up!!

    The colors are slightly different?

    This could be due to the lighting in the photograph or even sun fading.

    Other than that, I have no idea. Looks normal to me.

    Ya, the lighting along with my camera flash makes it look a tad off.

    I wouldnt worry about what price an item sells for. Thats meaningless when it relates to ebay. The real question is did they actually pay you after they won. Thats whats important. It could be someone trolling. After that nwc nonsense it wouldnt surprise me to see others going around trolling other nes games.



    As for the price of one nes cart being higher than another well ebay is unpredictable. Some people are just desperate also so theres cases where someone really wants a mario 3 cart and they dont care what it cost they will pay a high price or outbid others by a ridiculous amount because they just have to have that cart as soon as possible (for what reason who knows). Some will wait to get a game cheaper but others are impatient + have money to waste.
