Link's Finds!
I don't usually post my finds, but this one had me particularly excited. The saturn is possibly my favourite console to collect for, particularly when it comes to mint games.
After stopping by the post office, i decided to take a very long route home in order to stop by value village. Waiting for me there was this very well priced copy of Virtua Fighter Remix. While the virtua fighter remix not for resale version is incredibly common, the long box version is quite hard to come by. IMO harder than its current price would indicate.

I already have a copy of this, but it could be in better shape. Disc has scuffs, manual is fine but it does show use, and the back art has a sun faded spine. So upgrading my copy for a mere 7.99+tax (Canadian dollars!) is fantastic.
It wasn't until i had scoured most of the store before i gave VFR a closer look and realised it was sealed! To my knowledge, most saturn games have an overlap on the back of the box. This one didn't seem to have that. But it did have vent holes, and impressions from where the hang tab would have been removed.
Maybe it's a reseal? Would anyone have more knowledge on this subject(Mr. bucky perhaps!) Either way it looks gorgeous from what i can see and should serve as a fantastic upgrade!

Just wait it out and try segaage.
I consider myself a novice in these regards so hold out for a more educated response. I do not want to respond further to sway you in any way. If you can absolutely find nobody to reply, I'll answer.

Holy shit! Sealed or not that is absolutely incredible! If you want to pass the other copy along, dont be shy
Ya i'd be looking to get rid of my previous copy. But like i mentioned in the post, it's not a mint copy for sure. Manual has certainly seen use(though is intact), and it looks like someone splashed droplets of water on the cover(i didn't notice this until gleaming light). I mentioned the unfortunate sun fading to one of the spines. Disc looks great, but i suspect its resurfaced.
Thanks dochrohan. The input is much appreciated! I'm not really that fussed if it ends up being a reseal. From what i can see of the manual, it looks gorgeous. And the back art isn't faded. So that makes me super happy! Especially for a little over $8 CAD(or, $1.50 USD)! But at the same time, since the not for reseal is so dirt common, i'd feel a bit bad opening this if i can just spend a few bucks to keep a playable copy in my collection. I'm sure a legit sealed VFR has to be pretty darn hard to come by.
