Nintendo display cabinet!

Saw a craigslist ad for the cabinet, it was priced at $500. It had no glass and only 1 shelf so I offered $150 because he said it was definintely leaving his garage to the best offer. A few days later he says a guy offered $200 but never responded after that so it was mine if I wanted it. Of course I scurried over here after I sent the email to make sure it was a good deal and everyone said to get off my ass asap and grab it. Anyways enough with the rambling I'm sure you want pictures. My grandpa is going to help me make and paint some shelves, not sure what I'll do about the glass yet. Unfortunately there's no room for my boxed consoles yet so those are still up for display on a shelf elsewhere until I get more shelves. It appears someone was using it for a home theater case. The shelf is bent I assume from a tv and there are speaker holders you can see also.

  • That looks sick. You're not gna find many of those again!
  • Suweeeet! I want one of those. One day...
  • That is HOT!
  • Glad to hear you got it.
  • Haha whoa, that's just so pretty!
  • Congrats on picking up that bad boy! I was curious whether you bought it or not.
  • I had shelves made for mine..it had 2 so I brought them to a metal shop and copied them....nice find
  • Get glass made...its not that much...and well worth it
  • Insanely jealous man nice job.
  • Wow never seen the headquarter marquee on a cabinet before, very sick find! You should check and see if there is an M series part number on that thing anywhere.
  • Looks fantastic! Congrats and glad we could help ya out!
  • Looks pretty good. I'd do something about supporting that shelf in the middle as it's sagging enough without weight on it. Seems the crappy old particle board is dying from old age. If you have to keep it original, I'd put a board or something up the back wall in there to support it out of sight, or just get new ones made with something more solid.

I looked up into it and found a sticker. Says "Item # M18FM" I just went and posted it on the M series thread

The seller told me (forgot to put this at the top) that he got it from his sister who worked for the company who made these for the stores.

I did before I put any weight on in. I'm definitely going to get new ones. My Grandpa is going to help me make new ones. I can't wait, I'll be able to put my boxed systems and accesories in it and it will look so awesome then.

  • Wow i would love to get one of those
  • Yeah I've never seen anything with the Headquarters tag on it. Very cool find man, congrats!
