Some interesting finds at the thrifts today!
Hey guys! I had a really solid day today finding stuff. I couldn't visit the flea markets, because of the rain so I decided to head out thrift hoppin', and I was on quite a roll. Here's the highlights:
I visited my first thrift store, and usually it's very overpriced here. I checked out the case where they put video games and sure enough they had a NES console with the cords a controller and zapper and SMB/DH for... $99.99. I could see the other games they seperated to sell individually. Zelda $24.99, Super Mario Bros. 2 $34.99, World Class Track Meet $14.99...etc. After looking at all the display case stuff(including a $74.99 busted looking GBA with no back) I decided to head to the isles and hope to find something in the eletronics section. As I walk up to it I am kind of stunned. There's a NES console with a small chip in the door for only $26.99, and it has an "extra parts included" sticker. I decide to ask about it. They bring me the extra parts:

By extra parts they meant complete in box?! I actually asked why the one in the display case is so much more expensive, and they pretty much had no idea. I think most of the employees didn't even know what it was. Well either way it worked out for me! (It also came with a bonus purple Beeshu Zipper controller!)
The 2nd find was at a new game shop that opened up locally. I found this in their SNES selection:

Shaq Fu prototype!
After getting it home and trying it out it seems unfinished and very odd:

The story mode overworld is blank, but you can walk around and select locations.

There is no fighting. Both player's lifebars drain immediately except Shaq's lifebar stops at 1 hp. No one can ever move, and he is automatically declared the winner! Also the backgrounds are psychadelic!

Getting to the 2nd island causes the overworld to show up... kinda?

The bonus level actually works! You can move even though your life is drained to 1 hp. The top right picture still thinks there is an opponent who is defeated? You can actually complete this level, and it works correctly!

After beating the game you get the ending story(by the way the story cutscenes are perfectly fine), and you enter your highscore. After that it's game over!
Other things to note:
-In duel mode if player 2 doesn't pick anything you can fight vs "nothing" and the game crashes!
-You can set up a tournament, but it will never start!
-If you do "duel" human player vs human player the player's have their lifebars drained in the same way as story mode, but they cannot ever die for any reason! They are both invincible until time runs out where player 1 is always declared the victor.
For a rainy thriftin' day it was a pretty awesome one!

I would love to see some video of the game in action. It sounds ridiculous. Congrats on the find my man.
