  • Find some zelda ones and u have a buyer!

  • Going to sell?!?! I may buy a few!!!!
  • Great find Kevin! I keep hoping to run in to a large guide lot, but alas, they allude me. Honestly, I just like reading them lol.
  • I haven't found any Zelda ones on my quick look through.

I unfortunately won't have time to go through them better until after Midterms this coming week.

I do plan on selling majority of them off to help re-coop the cost, but also plan on placing a nice stack of them in the bathroom for good reading material lol
  • And the mario Kart ones came with sweet bumper stickers I am going to utilize
  • Very ridic find. Who the hell has that many guides
  • Wow, great work. $60, really? I like reading guides too.
  • That's awesome dude!
  • Jeez i'd pay $60 anyday
  • Sheeeesh, that's a lot of guides. Nice score!
  • I don't know why but I really like that rug
  • Nice haul!

That rug, McVan's sounds/looks very familiar... was it a rental store?
  • Mcvans was so awesome. They had anything and eveything you ever wanted. May not have been the best price in the world, but they always had anything i was looking for.
  • Any Nintendo made guides from the SNES era? I'm always keeping an eye out for a solid deal on SMRPG and Chrono Trigger. That's just a fantastic snag for such a price.
  • Instant strat guide icon, nice. Congratulations! These types of finds feel gooood.
  • I'd be interested in any Dragon Warrior/Quest guides if available.

On topic, killer snag man, I'm always hoping to run into a lot like this one.
  • I'm interested in Digimon World, Legend of Dragoon, Suikoden 1/2, Bushido Blade, Spyro 1, 2 , 3(ps1), and more from playstation 1.
  • I love strategy guides so much. Would love to find a stack like that sometime
  • Great find for a amazing price, must have been heavy though. I love to collect guides with my games, so if you happen to find any GB/GBC/GBA guides, I would love to make an offer.
  • Just let me know when the extra bedroom is ready, K3VBOT. The quality of your finds are just.... epic!

  • Awesome find. You can make good money off of old strategy guides if you get the right games. And that many guides for that kind of money you can't pass it up. Lots of times places like Game Stop just toss these out by the dumpster.
  • Ya'll enjoy this one.. Check first post
  • I think GUY GAME is my fav Sega Bastard game.
  • I loved mcvan's also. I started going there in 1995 until I moved away in 2006, and would hit everytime back home to see family. Really bummed me that they closed down so quickly, I missed getting there by 3 weeks or I would have broke the bank and ticked off my wife buying stuff
  • Holy strategy guides, batman!

    Good stuff.
  • Do you know the infamy of the guy game ?

One of the women on there was only 17 when she was filmed for it, and it resulted in a lawsuit.

Here's the link to some of the coverage of the lawsuit. You won't believe what you read.

        http://www.austinchronicle.com/issues/dispatch/2005-02-25/pols_feature7.html

        There are several points here:

        1) Her identity: "According to court filings, Doe was waiting in line to enter Tequila Frog's bar on March 11, 2003, when she saw the nearby stage. Armed with a fake California ID she'd bought in Dallas and a "newly enhanced buxom" " Now that you know where she is in the game you can bypass that section, cause no one what's to watch a stupid underage kid anyway.

2)What parent buys enhancements for a 17 year old? " "newly enhanced buxom" (as misnamed in court papers, presumably for "bosom") given to her by her parents as a Christmas present the year before"

        3) How stupid does she think we are: "Doe alleges that by virtue of the company's negligence, Topheavy invaded her privacy and inflicted emotional distress. By failing to discover that she was under 18,.."

        4) My point being made: "Topheavy attorney Laura Stapleton, ,... "[Doe] entered the contest knowingly [and] with an obvious desire to gain the attention of the crowd while being duplicitous with [Topheavy] to gain entry to the contest," she wrote. "Because [she] was acting as an adult and telling others that she was an adult, it was reasonable for Topheavy to believe she was an adult and [to] treat her like an adult, and the law should follow suit by holding her responsible for her actions, like an adult."

Can't wait to see what happens with this case.

She claimed her name was "Kristee" and she is on "Episode 4." She is the only one listed as 21 (via her fake ID) and claiming to be from California (also from her fake ID). She was actually 17 from Austin, TX. She also has enormous and obviously fake breasts, which the lawsuit mentions were paid for by her parents the prior year.
  • I wonder what kind of shit does Like smoke? Makes me wanna try some
