Crazy but decent find.
I was at a local auction yesterday looking for new furniture when I noticed in the corner under a tarp a whole skid of those Psycho KO multi system programable arcade sticks. They looked like hell the boxes were all water damaged.
After that I went to my parents for a visit as they live close by where I was, I asked them what kind of prices things were selling for at the auction becase I know they go sometimes. I told them what I had found and said if you decide to go keep an eye on them and maybe bid, I figured no more than $100 for the whole skid. So before I left my parents I said to them not to bother bidding I didn't want to deal with it, they said OK.
Last night they phone me and said they went to the auction and decided to bid on the skid for me, I said why I'm not interested, My dad says I got them all for $30. I laughed and said awesome.
So today I went back to my parents to grab some of them to put on Craigslist, I was pretty dissapointed as all of them had water damage to the boxes, figured I would have to sell them without boxes, but oh well maybe $5 each. Then dad laughs and says heres your bill, he bid $10 plus $3 for auctions fees.
So I have at least 100 of these arcade sticks now. Complete in damaged boxes.
