First post on site: craigslist score
Hello everyone! Longtime gamer, first time poster here. Started getting back into retro gaming last year. Been picking up finds wherevere I can, but it has been tough and pricey out there.
Anyway, got home from work today and saw an ad on CL about a moving sale with video game stuff. Called him up and drove over immediately since this stuff doesnt go longer than a day around here. We go to the garage where he pulls out some dusty boxes. Told him that I would take it all, and he surprises me by saying I can take it for $10!!
All I had was twentys on me. Gave him a $20 and told him to keep the change. Now I realize some of you think that is ridiculous because that's another ten dollars towards more games or other worldly needs; my life experience has shown that things do come back around, and I was already getting a great deal either way.
Been looking for both GI Joe games on the NES so i was happy about those. Not sure what I will do with everything else. I have a pretty good idea of what everything is worth except for the strategy guides. What is a good price on those? Thanks for looking!
