This is bad...

Carefull... already 8 of these have sold.. watch out for fakes!

My 2 cents.. Can't believe this is actually being reproduced, I don't care if anyone needs a fresh label, it's not authentic or original. If I had a DK comp cart with no label or a horribly damaged label, so be it, thats its unique history. This is only hurting our collecting hobby.

  • it must be really easy to make these labels, cuz they are popping up everywhere...scary stuff...I'd hate to get a repro at full price.
  • What a joke.This is becoming ridiculous.

EDIT: How long before we see 8 listings for "authentic" DKCC now...
  • This shit is getting out of hand.
  • It says reproduction on it, but the text is tiny.

Some people just take the original DKC and slap the DKCC reproduction label on it....

  • At least the labels are marked that they are Repro's
  • Just came from Gamesplus store (gamesplusus.com) their main location. They had "Peek a Boo", "Bubble Bath Babes" and "Hot slots" for 125 a pop. With regular NES carts. I tried to explained those were bootlegs, and the guy just cut me off "Ours are not fakes", so I asked can I see the board, and he just plugs the cart into the NES. and I said "no I mean the actual PCB board" and he asked Why and then said no.

Now store chains think it is ok to sell bootlegs.
  • The guy says in his listing that all labels will have, "reproduction label" on them, so at least there's that. It's amazing how many fakes of seemingly every rare game keep popping up, from nes all the way up to ds games. I'm not sure yet about fake 3ds games, but I suppose it's only a matter of time until someone figures out how to do it.
  • What I don't get is who wants to buy this stuff anyways?
  • It says reproduction on it at least. Not sure why anyone would want something like that though, since DKCC is purely a collector's piece. No self respecting collector would slap that crap on a real cart.
  • I know someone who bought a replacement label for a high end game. When he got it, the part that said it was a reproduction was too long to fit and "needed" to be cut off so it would go on the cart.
  • Kinda fucked up... eBay pulls an auction of mine for having an unauthorized grade on a coin and another after the buyer reported the category after deciding he didn't want to pay yet this fuck can encourage counterfeiting and get away with it.

Ebay pulled one of my listings yesterday, because copyright Infringement VeRo claim. of a game I own the rights.

I called and they were doing system Maintenance. Then these guys sell fake games and make thousands of dollars.

    because f**K you.
