    Is that Bronty?
  • Tough call. That could be legit though.  People selling high end games must/should have pictures of the board
  • im not buyin it, you rearrange the letters in DAN MARESCA, you get AND ARE SCAM. i think the decal is supposed to be bigger too

Hmmm. Well that is Bronty's name. He's more famous for being a collector of factory sealed games...
  • Bronty had a gold cart. I think everyone here jumps on things that are fake, the guy has good feedback and such so I am not sure what rang a bell but "Dan Maresca" is bronty, so....yeah...$29,000 regardless
  • Then again that account has not been used in 2 years almost, lol

    lol, Well that settles it.
  • Well I can tell you with 100% certainty that Dan Maresca is Bronty and that he had and sold a gold Nwc. I had a deal to buy it from him about 7-8 years ago somewhere in there and then the day before I was heading north to meet him to make the exchange he got a better offer on it. No hard feelings as I understood and I consider Dan a buddy. I can't tell you for sure that this is who bought it but I can tell you that the story is legit.
  • I def sold a gold cart and it sounds like him . He's a great guy. Let me check the listing

Jeez really? We didn't have a deal tho did we Erik? It doesn't sound very good like that. I'm going to pm you, it's been so long that I can't recall but I wouldn't back out if we had a from deal?
  • The sellers location is 100% consistent with the town the guy I sold it to lives in. I'm sure it's him . I don't remember that specific ID but he had several

    HALL OF SHAME
  • Just noticed it ended at $29.5k, pretty good number if the final bids were legit!
  • Pm sent back Dan. Like I said there are zero hard feelings on my end. Had Brian done it though I would have tattooed "I heart Sega" on his forehead while he slept.
  • Damn, I guess all the "sleuths" in here got owned up and it was real. Almost 30K to boot on a "questionable" listing. Yay to NWC gold owners!
