The best kind of score: the free one!

Long story some what short, a guy I work with caught me browsing the NA forum and asked me what it was. I told him, and explained that I was getting into N64 collecting. The conversation went on for a while and then we went back to work. I thought that was that, until this morning. He walks into my cubicle a while ago and hands me a bag. He says I can keept it. So, I rifle through the bag, and this is what I found! Pardon the hazy photo, lens is scratched on my phone.

All the box games include inserts and manuals. The boxes aren't in the best shape, but hey, they were free! I offered to pay him, but he refused. Eventually I was able to talk him into letting me buy him lunch, but that was still probably the best $10 I've ever spent!

  • Woah, looks like you owe someone lunch!

Haha, I'd say several lunches! Pretty pleased to say the least!
  • Before I read the bottom sentence, I was going to say you owe that guy a lunch.

I love free scores. I bet I have under $20 invested in my 60-some game N64 collection with systems and controllers because about half of it was free. Some people are genuinely nice if they know their possessions are going to someone that is going to care for them.

    Great score!
  • Wow every single game there is a solid release with some real time to be burned on if you're a player and not just a shelf warmer.

That was nice he at least relented on the $10 meal as getting that much free is beyond nice in todays old gaming 'market' as it is.
  • Looks like some sweet karma heading his way
  • Sweet! those are some great titles to get you going with your n64 collection!
  • I had a similar experience a few years ago with a co-worker giving me a box of N64 stuff. In fact he asked me about it all the other day and hinted that he has some more stuff that he might be getting rid of.

Very nice pickup and good for you for treating him to lunch!
