does it really matter if the games play in the up or collapsed position

Chime in on this one agers! I often do the scrub(clean with ajax) the pins (rinse and dry ,of course) , respring the pins, put it back in technique on systems! Sometimes the games work from the up position. Other times, you have to push it in and push it down.  I fell as long as you have a functioning system(that plays your games), iit doesn't matter either way! What do you have to say?

  • no ! as long as it works!
  • i tightened my connector so hard that it works only in the UP position.. but i like that image
  • Mine always work in either position, even inbetween. I will leave them up and play because it doesnt put pressure on the pins. After all the stuff I do to mine, I can drop them and they wont even mess up. I tried to mess one up that I refurbished and couldnt get it to.
  • I'm so cool, I own a top loader. But my toaster works better in the up position (and have a greater picture quality, by the way...)
  • I honestly didn't know it could work in the "up" position
  • My front loader only worked in the "up" position, but it was as reliable as a top-loader, so I couldn't complain.
