Hiding listings

Found this on the bottom of the page while searching for a game:

Identical listings (meaning listings with identical title, listing format, and bidding activity) appear only once per search or browse results page.
To view all identical listings, please click here.

Nice so even tho I pay to have my auction listed, they choose to hide it if it looks like another one.

    They started this something like 6 weeks ago. I believe it only applies to items from the same seller. It's to prevent category spamming.



    F.E. lukiegames lists 20 Super Mario Bros/ Duck Hunt simultaneously for the same BIN. He'll only have one "advertisement" per page.



    It's a good thing for you, you don't have to filter through pages of crap to find the best deal in the best shape at the lowest price. It's only bad if you're a seller with 20 of the same item.



    It used to be against the rules to list more than 20 identical items, they'd yank stuff. Not it's legal, but this is how they combat it - by making it worthless to do so.
