^but they aren't even attempting to salvage anything. They busting up perfectly good furniture in the driveway. Why not hire a surplus/salvage store to crew up these jobs so that shit doesn't wind up in a landfill for no reason. The question isn't why was the stuff left behind, but why are these fucksticks destroying it all?
Yea I know they tried to explaign why they couldnt save anything.. But im sure they could easily get rid of all that stuff. All they would have to do is have a website, or use Craigs list to give the address of the house their cleaning. Give a time table of 1 hour for anyone who wants to go in there and grab free stuff. Have one of your crew show up an hour early to open the house and monitor the situation (so no one vandalizes). Then have the rest of the crew show up on time, and hour later and clean up whats left.
I was in shock watching them destroy all that stuff. That's perfectly good stuff that could be given to Goodwill, etc.
Like the guy said in the video, the logistics of trying to save all that stuff is just impossible. That video looked alot like some days at my job. I do construction, but on insurance claims only. We get a lot of fires, floods, that kind of stuff. The best is when a rental home burns up. The tenants usually just leave everything.
Me and the guy I work with have contacts for everything we come accross. We got our antigue guy to take antiques to, a coin guy, a comic book guy, electronic guy, etc. I have gotten so mch stuff over the years. I actually just got a 60 inch projection tv for my basebent last week!
I used to do maintenance in apartments and when people moved out we had to do the same thing. Of course it wasnt as good as the stuff these guys were finding but I never had to buy anything for my apartment thats for sure.
My wife is a realator and when she gets a listing that is a forclosuer people usally leave all kind of stuff behind. The last house I found a snes and a nes plus 5 or six games. But that said we ended up hauling a ton of stuff to the dump. I can understand why they just destroy everything. 99 percent of people dont want something used. Henceforth why were in the predicement were in. THe main reason most of the stuff gets left behind is its not paid for. Yeah they left a 52 inch tv that probally belongs to rent a center so whoever takes it is kind of stealing.
And another big problem is when they do lose their home they complete trash it. turning a 200 thousand dollar home into a 50 thousand dollar piece of crap. So they bank ends up losing a ton of money. The people should probally be sued for the damage but the bank would probally never see the money

Yep - I wonder how much NES stuff they find in those houses
"they left a computer, printer...another computer..."
then zoom in on a packard bell on the floor, lol
can't really take it with them with nowhere to put it.
Cool job thou, talk about never having to buy stuff for your home.
I'm sure all of those guys already have huge flat screen LCD's... who needs a projection TV? Into the dumpster with it!
