  • I don't like scary movies, but that looks awesome.

    ~~NGD
  • haha yeah great im in!

  • I'm already creeped out from just looking at that picture.

  • the hills have EYE'S 2 now thats a scary movie.....
  • Creepy?...my first thought was 'what's that kid doing right?'

  • I just rented Joy Ride 2! Now that's a scary movie!
  • I love horror flicks, I'll have to check this out

Nah, it was actually very good, I was pleasantly surprised!

  • R U Kidding me Gimmick?  Please say you're kidding me... I unfortunately bought Joy Ride 2 on my latest visit to the store to pickup the horror movie releases, wierd trip seemes like October is bad sequel month... anyways... Joy Ride 2 THUMBS DOWN, Rest Stop 2 THUMBS DOWN although it had better gore than Joy Ride 2.  The only good scene in Joy Ride 2 was the opening death scene of the prosititue... I will give them a thumbs up on that one.    Haven't watched Pulse 2 yet but that's on slate for tonight... here's what I picked up this week.  image  Oh yeah picked up Starship Troopers 3 as well, THUMBS DOWN!

  • It wasnt that bad considering it was a sequal, the acting was terrible tho, I never saw the first so I didnt really have much to compare it to ...

BTW, what are some good horror movies, any reccomendations? I'm always up for a good horror flic, and most of the stuff I've seen lately is pretty average

  • Silent Night, Deadly Night, Bloody Birthday (not sure if it's on dvd, haven't been able to find it yet), The Crazies (old romero film), and a mountain of others that I can't think of off hand
  • All of the Romero stuff is solid. The rerelease of Texas Chainsaw Massacre was pretty suspenseful.

  • Starship Troopers 3??! I thought the first one was terrible. I can't even imagine a 2nd or a 3rd one...
  • ^^^ That series made me die a little inside. The book is REALLY good. If they'd waited 10 years for the big budget release of the original...they could have done power armor effects, possibly hired a decent cast...and it might have actually had some staying power.
  • Last house on the left? (I dont remember much.. i think it was kinda boring.. but you will never forget the end), Premonition (the Japanese film, the american one is not even a remake, its something completely diffrent), Nightmare on Elm street 1, Communion (the christopher walken one.. you have to watch it alone in the dark), and one of my all time favorites.. Tommy Knockers.

    image
  • Yeah #2 was absolute putrid garbage... #3 brings back Colonel Rico so that was ok... but the effects were terrible. There was a prolonged scene with 3 smokin' hot female soldiers buck naked having a fitting for their Marauder suits. image

LOVE IT, have it on DVD finally able to upgrade it from my old VHS copy.  Early WES CRAVEN... in fact his first film.  From what I hear he'd like it to be forgotten...
  • That looks f'ing awesome! I wanna see it now!
  • Ok just watched two more from the new stack in my pic above... Pulse 2 - Thumbs Down, not horrible but not very good. Breathing Room - Thumbs Down, I like the concept, exactly like SAW 2 but not as fun or bloody.
  • Just watched Sweeny Todd the other day. Not a horror movie, per se, but plenty of blood and sets a good tone for the Halloween season.

2nd best Craven flick behind "The Hills Have Eyes" for sure.
