What an amazing episode - I think my most favorite ever! Crazy to see the comics side vividly come to life, they put a lot of work into this episode - I watched it twice even! Lots of cheesy things being complained about over on roamersandlurkers.com but you'll always have that, it's a TV show with a budget after all. Really loved the "walking through the zombies holding hands" scene, even though it's insanely unrealistic to let them pause and huddle up for a conversation in the middle of a zombie engulfment. Shocked they did the Carl thing, but am really happy they did and the unrealistic start of the episode with Daryl and Negan's crew was pretty badass since they teased that scene back in the MSF. Nice to see Eugene and Gabriel finally nut up, same with the alexandrians.
Finally Gabriel stepped up to the plate... I thought he was going to say something stupid and do something stupid. Eugene, well, we shall see but at least he finally got his first kill.
I liked the last episode a lot - nice change of pace. Not sure how I feel about Rick and Michonne but it makes sense. The Jesus fella is very intriguing - ninja houdini?
It was an ok episode. Im guessing we will have a big split in the cast again soon so they can have an episode to each group. I hate when they do that. Everytime it happens all I think about is them trying to save money.
I liked the episode a lot. In fact, REALLY enjoying the 2nd half of the season thus far. I know enough from reading about others discussing the comics regarding Negan, to know something bad is likely going to happen to one of the core characters by end of season. All signs after this episode (and earlier things of this season) point to Glen. How many times can he escape death (including prior seasons)?
It seems that each time something "good" happens, for example the happy joyous scene with the ultrasound picture, something bad happens right after to offset it. Also the whole Abraham & Rosita/Sasha thing, maybe he's going to be the one to bite the dust, or one of the women... Seems Negan is also known to go after the women too...
Andrew Lincoln mentioned recently that the script for the S6 finale actually made him sick and he lost sleep over it...wonder how close they will follow the comics.
P.S. - love the blood faced Rick after the throat kill. Starting to get used to that psycho dont-fuck-with-me version of Rick .

This is what I'm starting to think. They seem to be trying to build him up to coming around from being crazy and not caring, to thinking things are good and maybe this is a world worth building. It feels like they are trying really hard to get the audience to care about him, then that way his death will matter more. He's my current pick to feel the wrath of Negan.
i just want to see who is going to be killed by negan. They showed them entering negans camp next episode in the teaser. think they will drag it out till the end of the season? i dont read the comics but i cant avoid hearing some of the plot lines. i think it will be darryl that gets killed by negan. his character arc is pretty much over with.
Insane episode! Glenn got his first human kill, kinda crazy lol. How dumb are they to let the women go to the compound, especially a pregnant one. For those following the comics (I don't but I know enough), this cold-as-hell ambush, along with those pictures they found and the kidnapped women - this absolutely sets up for the big scene from the comics. Someone is going to get it, probably same as comics given who was kidnapped. Also all the focus on Carol this episode makes me worry she might be next. I think we're going to have at least 2 big characters killed off this episode.
P.S. - killer Daryl is pretty badass. Word to the world - don't take that man's motorcycle!

Hmm... so I did not think about his bike much, but I guess this means the couple that stole the bike are dead and were running from the saviors?
It was pretty good, i was thinking something terrible was going to happen any minute. I guess they want to just hold off on big deaths until the finale?

Yep. I am starting to read the comics, but I figure the following will not make it to next season: Carol and Sasha. A certain someone told me about a character and their certain death, so I will not throw that name into the mix.
I also like how it really makes you question if they really are the good guys.
Just see parts of the show as my wife watches, but I actually saw most of this episode. Have to say...after watching Boondock Saints this past week, Norman Reedus is looking OLD! All jokes aside, as someone who doesn't keep up with the series the episode was kinda boring to watch until that last 15 minutes. Was pretty cool then. I thought they should have left the witch as she was, but oh well.
I liked this episode as well, it really derailed a few subplots from the Comics if I understand correctly (such as trading up 2v2 to get Maggie/Carol back to possibly give a certain someone to the saviors). Maggie seems to be more aggressive and "fuck-it" lately which is awesome. She's running around with 2 lives so to see her go all crazy on Molls there was pretty good. Carol seems to be questioning herself far too much, she's a badass. I know part of it was likely a ploy for the crazy ginger but yeah. All around good episode, another "Glenn and Maggie" separation and re-finding of each other and Rick only went Postal once this episode on Pablo or whatever his name was LOL. Damn I love this show.
After the first episode of the season I was expecting a little bit more out of tonight's episode. It seems to me like this was just a filler episode, nothing that was important to the plot besides the fact some of the characters are starting to go soft. Wish it would have had a little more action. Not the worst episode ever, but probably the worst of this season. Wasting a whole hour to show a little character development of two characters is such a waste.
The saviors stated multiple times that they are all Negan and they showed the polaroids of the heads bashed in above that guys bed. Obviously we will see "a negan" in the finale, but are they all just calling themselves Negan since they are all killers or is there an actual guy named Negan?
I think were seeing Maggie become a leader and doing what she has to do. I think she will start her own community soon...

Why is no one discussing?
Guess we'll be seeing the hilltop ppl soon
Gonna be a interesting season finale
All out war would be the next season
You think they'll bring a tiger ? Haha

Whatever happens when Negan actually shows up is kind of justified at this point, with all the killing of his crew that they are doing.
Not according to Morgan!
Those slight knife to the head killings were brutal.
And yeah glen looking at those Polaroids of people with their heads bashed in, is like a bad feeling about this
Now Maggie carol captured >.> great wtf man
They just had to have a talk during a intense plan >.>

They seemed weak compared to the saviors, I'd assume so myself. Very curious to what happened to Daryls crossbow too.

We want Negan already.
