Help with M27C322 chips

So I bought some eprom M27C322 chips and I am having some problem programming them. I have GQ-4X with the 8bit/16bit adapter. I have the same chips seleceted on the device type. When I try to "ID" the chips it says "function not supported by this device. If I try and skip the ID check and blank check/write the chips it gives me "the device blank check failed at address:"

Am I doing something wrong or should I try putting my chips under a UV light and then retrying?

  • I don't think the chips above 40 pins have the I'd check...

    try UV erasing and program.
  • I was messing around with it some more last night and I go the chips to start writing and they always get to a certain spot and stop. I am going to try erasing them with a UV light today and I guess try a different ROM.
  • The problem you're currently experiencing is that Jumper 5 needs to be changed from v3 to v4.
