What's everyone paying for gas nowadays?

So it's obnoxious how the price of gas has plummeted over the past month. I'm here in Southern New Hampshire and paid a max of $4.07/gal during the summer... today I paid $2.37/gal just wondering what everyone else is paying recently.

  • I just saw gas for $2.47 today. That's the lowest in my area

  • 7.46$ here in Norway atm... Sucks considering I have to drive 20miles (european miles) about every second-third week.
  • $3.17 for 93 two days ago
  • I paid 2.70 today for mine, but a place about 10 miles away had it for 2.41

Funny how it was like 7-8 a gallon a few weeks ago. Total BS if you ask me.

  • it finally dropped to 2.69 here. it was 4.29 at one time, like 3 or 4 weeks ago.

I agree - COMPLETE BS. A lot easier for the struggling economy to manage prices under $3/gal now I would assume.

wow, I haven't seen $4+ here in 2+ months now
  • I saw it as high as $4.59 a few weeks ago. About $2.79 now.
  • Wow I was so flippin happy to pay $3.15 today here... you guys in the $2's are damn lucky!
  • I think we're paying around $1.15Cdn a litre which is probably around $3.25US/gallon. If you guys used the metric system like normal people image it would be easier to compare
  • ^We're Americans, you adjust to our standard image

  • Here in Maine the cheapest i've seen gas is $2.79/gallon.
  • Wow some of you guys have it cheap! I paid $3.25 which is cheap around here--sort of in tha hood. My buddy in West LA paid $3.56 this morning.
  • Goddamn, we're still paying around $3.40 in Chicago, fuck ya'll.
  • I paid a $1.14 the other day.

You poor people in BC. Today I paid $0.95 a litre!
I got a new car recently (3 weeks ago), and I hadn't even filled it up until today (I've been biking a lot... only using my car when I have to, to try to save on gas).
Only cost me $35 to fill'er right up full.
  • It's falling about a nickel to a dime a day, and it can be had today for around $2.85-$2.90 a gallon. Four to six weeks ago, however, it was as high as $4.29 a gallon.

Edit:  It should be noted, that the last time I filled my tank was about September 11th or so, and I paid $3.59 a gallon at that time to fill my tank (cost me $94 total).
  • Im running E-85 and its less than $2

E-85?  You can't even get that stuff around here image .  It's not because it's in high demand, though; it's that no one carries it :/ .
  • One of the benefits of living in a giant cornfield called Iowa I guess...

  • I saw it for 2.95 around madison today, most are still between 2.97 and 2.99

some old bag was arguing with me the other day asking if gas went up, I said no, its actually gone down about 50 cents the past few weeks, to which she replied "No it hasn't, it was cheaper on the other side of town (the west side of madison)", which is complete bullshit because gas is always more expensive on the west side
  • ^^ dude youre about to hit 666 posts. >image
  • uh ohz, i'm gonna have to make an appropriate change to my avatar then

  • I just got done paying $2.67/gallon. That's the cheapest that I've seen it for a while here in Southern NJ.
  • We're at $2.94 here. Matt... what does it take to use E-85? There's a sticker on my car that says 85 minimum on it... does this mean I can use this amazingly cheap fuel?
  • ^ I'm not exactly sure it depends on your car... Mine is an '02 Tahoe and it was like a $700 option when new to have the "Flex Fuel" engine.. when I think all they really change is the fuel lines, etc.

Its gets a little worse gas mileage though with the E-85 so its kind of a tradeoff.  But with a truck the mileage is never good anyway.
