Help with Reproduction Cart

So i purchased a Repro of Bahamut Lagoon from a user here on NintendoAge and he confirmed that it was working before he had sent it out. Fast Forward a week later when I receive I can't get the cart to boot, all i'm getting is a black screen and we don't know why. Would anyone be able to shed some light on this or be able to do a rebuild? Thanks I appreciate any and all help.

  • Can you find who made the game?
  • Return it and have the guy replace or repair it. What do you expect the rest of us to do about it?

According to the guy who sold it to me he bought it from JJRepro before Chilant took over her service.

  • You can always ask her about this.

To not be rude about it. i was looking to see if there was someone who could fix it or shed some light on why this was happening.

Oh is she still online, I didn't know

  • She's not online at the moment but send her a message about this. Tell her that you will pay the shipping cost if she's willing to repair it.

If that does not work, you might want to try someone on this list: http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=57823

Can't help you more that this buddy.

    Good luck!

There is zero chance anyone can help you with "it doesn't work" and no other info. We are not psychic and this thread is pointless.
  • Then ho somewhere else. Someone already offered useful advice, no thanks to you.

I'll back him up, we're not psychic, use the techniques described in hundreds of threads on how to get games work, clean them, clean the system, etc. If it doesn't work then, send it back. We aren't psychic, I'm sorry I can't take 5 minute sof my time and equipment to fix it easily, you just gotta realize. The information is out there, search it.
  • Have you tried it in another console? I know this might sound strange but no two consoles are the same (different revisions and such).

If it still doesn't work, find a repro maker and just have them tinker at it.
  • what a bunch of assholes. Somebody needs to sit down and watch bambi
  • Do you have the gamebit to open the cartridge? Sometimes if a game doesn't work I'll open the cart and use alcohol and a pink eraser to really clean up the pins. Also it may be worth looking over the cartridge board and make sure everything looks alright. You could post pictures as well so we can verify nothing looks out of place.
