DoReMi Fantasy donor cart help?

Hey everyone. After recently acquiring a copy of DoReMi Fantasy for the SFC after being on my list of games to buy for a long time, I thought it  might be fun to make a reproduction with the English translation. My problem is that I am finding HiROM and LoROM versions of the game. The SNES list found here http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=22&threadid=21674 states that the game is LoROM, which leads to a lot more matches for donors. However, when I English patch my LoROM version, it fails to work in an emulator, stating it is a bad ROM (though the Japanese version works fine). I am using SNES ROM Utility and it is splitting the ROM to fit onto two 27c801 EPROMs, and I am having trouble finding a match for a donor.



I'm kind of a noob at reproductions, any advice will be of great help. Please no comments telling me not to destroy carts to use as a donor, or that I should use a flash cart because it's easier. I just want to have some fun and learn something new.

    It's HiRom.



    I have the repro with 2 27c801 in an SFII Turbo board (rewiring needed because it's a 2x16mb board and we want 2x8mb).

    ...mine is a lorom, just opened it and checked, cant remember what the donor was but probably something like Madden 93 or NHL 94 going by the board.

    It would be awesome if I could see some pictures of the boards on some of these repros. If it's not too much trouble...
