Can you belive the year is getting close to being over.

Guess maybe because im getting old, but I cant belive the year is coming to a end and 2009 will be the last year of this decade. Seems like time goes by so fast you cant even catch your breath.

    this decade has sucked. especially in the music area. the 90's was probably the last decade with good music.

    I fell ya man.  I remeber being younger and thinking older people were wierd for saying stuff like "enjoy your childhood now, cause you'll look back one day ... " , whatever old people say.  Well, now I just turned 29, and when I stop and think about it, I really do think, "where did the time go".  I know I'm not really that old, but time does go by quick.

    oh man, I totally agree! It seems like I just started at the PO, and that was Dec 8 2007. Ever since I graduated high school, time has flown by, death approaches O_o

    This year has gone by way too fast for me. My daughter is almost 1 and this will be her first Christmas. We're SO damn excited... I'm having a ton of fun being a dad. If I'd known it was this much fun, I would have had kids a long time ago!

    I definitely agree this year has flown by.. But it seems the older we get the faster time seems to pass...

    I remember when I was a kid, the summer was a long time, but now it seems like summer it gone in the blink of an eye..

    and Dain, nothing beats being a dad does it, my favorite is when I get home everyday and Shelby sees me and runs to me, gives me a hug or kiss... It's the best feeling ever.. I love being a dad..

    Yep, I agree with NGD, time has flown by since high school ended, I still feel like I'm 19ish and I'm closing in on 26.



    Feels like I joined NA a few weeks ago, and its been well over a year.



    Those elders were right. all my parents friends telling me to enjoy the childhood, to embrace it, cause 1 day you'll turn around, and you'll be old, old and telling young kids the same thing.

    Amen Tusky, I am in the same place. My body feels so much different than it did just a few years ago. Not taking care of myself is slowly catching up to me. Yay old age. At least we aren't as old and Dain and Doug image

    I totally agree. I think that we enjoy ourselfs too much. When we where young and in school we hated it, every free hour was a blessing and every weekend was heaven. Now we just go home to our usuall lifes after work and everything repeats.



    And time flies a LOT faster when on the internet... I blame NA for 2009 coming so soon. image

    Wisdom comes with age.  I was at the mall and saw a younger cuople taking their kids in for pictures. Mine are soon to be 17 and 19  but it seems like yesterday they were little. Im sure my mom can think back to when I was little. But thats life . contrary to what people think. Its not about the length of time you live its all about how you spent the time you did have.

    i'm now on my way becoming a doctor and allready got my first degree in health sciences image.. and offcourse am a NES collector image

    2008 was actually the longest year in the  last 3 years.  There's gonna be an extra second added at the end to make up for the fact that the earth doesn't rotate consistenly.
