Howdy
Hello Everyone,
Not sure how to start this but here goes. Basically i've been a collecter all my life. Had tons of things when i was younger, toys, trading cards, video games but my mom gave away or sold 95% of my collection. I knew though that it wasn't going to last and around middle school i started collecting Comic Books and slowly getting toys again. I pretty much didn't stop after that. I'm 33 now and love collecting!!! I love going to thrift shops, pawn shops, flea markets, garage sales!
growing up i had Atari/NES/SNES/Genesis. The first ever console i bought myself was Playstation. It blew me away! I nearly combusted at the PS2 (which is still my fav console) I didn't have that much retro stuff because i was interested in the more modern video games. It wasn't until i went on Youtube that i discovered different channels of people picking up old consoles, video games and it really took me back. It's amazing when you see a video and seeing a game you had. I still have a small retro collection but it's growing steadily.
I'm 33, going to be 34 next week!!! I'm married with 2 kids and i am a substitute teacher.

Second, welcome to Nintendoage!
Frequenting thrift stores is a favorite past time of many members here. You can check out their finds in the "Finders Keepers" thread. If you find something yourself, don't hesitate to post a pic or two yourself. Good finds motivate everybody!
Hope you had a great birthday, and enjoy your stay on NA!
