Greetings
Hey there. I fell in love with the NES when I was a kid despite my family only ever owning Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt and Double Dribble. When I got into my teens, I used to spend my time in FuncoLand (then GameStop) buying old cartridges that I had wished I'd had available to me when I was younger. I moved to the UK in my early twenties and discovered the slower clock speed of the PAL NES is really unfortunate. So, I slowly replaced them with NTSC systems save for the one that is boxed up. I clipped the region lock-out chip on one so I can play the few PAL games I've accumulated.
I'm not a huge collector yet, and I have no aspirations to own every game, but I am pleased to know that this website and forum exist to help scratch what others consider to be a very strange itch (I'm commonly asked why emulators aren't enough). Anyway, I hope you're all well and that you have good days/evenings, etc.

Oh boy, you said a word that hits a sweet, sweet nostalgic nerve for many a NA Member.... Funcoland!
You will definitely find many members that share your sentiments on the games of old as well as your collecting style.
Saw you post a couple of times already and I really think you'll love it here.
Enjoy your stay on NA!
