LOWBALLER'S AUCTION-RAFFLE (June 2014) - Extras LOT!
Welcome!
This is NOT a raffle. Money is only involved with the winner, NO ONE else will pay a dime, it’s FREE to play every month. Let’s go!
The Rules…
$45 = 1 entry (Portabello1)
$50 = 2 entries (Portabello1, Portabello2) etc.
$55 = 3 entries
$60 = 4 entries
How it works…
All eligible members’ entries will be put into a third party online randomizer and one will be selected electronically. That lucky member wins the “low-ball” deal with me for the item of the month. Everyone else owes nothing and can try again next month. The more you are willing to pay for the auction items will determine the amount of entries you get, thus improving your odds. The idea is to have the maximum bid still be a good deal for the auction items. Please PM me if you have any specific questions.

June 2014 Bidding Question: (must be included in your post with your bid)…
What game frustrated you the most as a kid?
My answer: Last Action Hero for Gameboy. It was one of the first games I ever owned and it was soooo frustrating how quickly I would die. I'm not sure that I ever figured out how to get past the second stage.

As a kid, had to be Pitfall II. I'd get almost to the end, get hit by one of those fucking bats, and go all the way back to one of those checkpoints where I'd have to fight through the bats again. I kept an extra broken controller on hand to beat against the ground instead of the one I was using.
The game that frustrated me the most as a kid was robocop for NES. From the clunky controls (trying to go up and down stairs) to the fact your gun could only be used in certain areas. I hated that game, yet I must have played those first couple levels a thousand times.
As a kid the most frustrating game had to be GoldenEye on 00 Agent. I really wanted to unlock all the cheats but was unable to complete the Aztec Complex and the Egyptian Temple on that difficulty. I think I eventually completed them with the help of a cheat or glitch from NP though
The game that frustrated me the most as a kid was Zelda 2 for NES .My god this games was hard
The game that frustrated me the most was TMNT. Never mind the jumps, never mind the fact that Donatello was the only guy worth playing as, for me it was when I finally got to Shredder with my last life, I only had Donatello left and he blasted me with that '1-hit kill' mutagen gun. Game Over. Controllers were broken.
The game that frustrated me most as a kid was Pitfall on the NES. I had no clue what I was doing or where to go yet the endless places to explore kept me going not to mention the worthless flashing piles of gold that almost always put you in a position to die. Can I also say I hate the gun in that game, its so useless. Most of your enemies are at knee level and your bullets fly past the enemies. What a steaming pile that game is...
the game that frustated me the most till i got used to it was crash bandicoot, i hated those big green nitro blocks in the ice levels soooo annoying lol
Landstalker on the Genesis by far.
That isometric view and fumbling around with a 4 button controller, jumps were nearly impossible leaps of faith, and then there was always this one dungeon where I would hit a brick wall and couldn't get past a fight with 2 statues or something.
I actually own the game again, and I still have never beat that part.
Castlevania on the NES. Between the bats & Hunchbacks I was frustrated enough, but, then that freaking grim reaper! After months of frustration I gave up, until I was an adult...then I beat him, and Dracula!!!
I was probably most frustrated by Hydlide because it was a terrible game that I used my saved up allowance to buy. It really sucks saving up $5 per week and ending up with Hydlide.
Most frustrating for me would be Aladdin on Sega Genesis. For some reason (maybe being only 5 years old) I couldn't get past the Magic Carpet lava stage.
The game that most frustrated me when I was little was TMNT on the NES. I loved TMNT as a kid and wanted to finish this game so badly, but never managed to make it to the end (although I did beat the swimming level).
TMNT seems to keep popping up, and it's what frustrated me too. I never got past the dam level. I saved up for that game for an entire summer, soooooo pissed off.
Game that frustrated me the most was Jurassic Park on SNES couldn't ever figure out what to do and would die within the first minute of the game every time.
Battletoads in Battlemaniacs...could never beat that "bike" level with all the jumping and avoiding the weird blinking walls. Drove me crazy. I also couldn't beat Super Punch-Out or regular MTPO, but I accepted that I wasn't good enough. The toads thing just felt unfair though.
the magic carpet level in Aladdin for SNES where you had to escape the burning cave and can't hit the lava or the walls. Took me years to finally do it when I was a kid.
Question: As a kid, I remember Donkey Kong Country being hard as hell. I lacked a little of hand/eye coordination. Got a hang of it for a while.
As a kid, the game that frustrated me the most was NES Battletoads. That speederbike level...it still taunts me in my nightmares..
The game that frustrated me the most as a kid was Spelunker. I could clear the first level after multiple attempts then getting to the next screen and dying...you have to start all over!
For some odd reason I feel compelled to own it and torture myself again.
For the skeptics...
